The $6k USD price is the big resistance point.
Bitcoin Gold getting some of it's act together is no doubt a catalyst.
There's at least a wallet now.
 
seems like liquidity between each 1'000 is pretty small, less than 2 BTC atm.
 
So now how to collect my Bitcoin Gold dividend and sell my Bitcoin before inevitable dump to build again. Or will it?
 
See what others are doing? So many are selling off their small amounts of other currency to take advantage of the Bitcoin Gold offer. The markets are going to be stupid for the next two weeks IMO. Many alts are tanking as BTC climbs.

Give up a good position in an alt for something that's potentially worthless? No thx. Even if it's worth something I'm not just dumping my alts for a bit of $$$. Meh - this whole btc thing can gtfo and be done with already.

Depends - things like OMG, NEB, WTC are probably going to do very well in 2018 but I prefer looking for newer alts with decent entry prices & more room to grow. POSW, SAFEX, XBY, SNM, SUB, SNT...all relatively cheap still. I've missed the boat on some of the larger alts and need to wait for a better entry if I'm going to buy.

The top alts aren't necessarily those I'm interested in :).

which/how many exchanges do you use? some of those that you mentioned are only on limited exchanges like Cryptopia
 
Who else is beginning to wonder if the Bitcoin Gold fork is nothing but a scam by a big BTC holder to do exactly this...
 
How the peck has it climbed R10k in 2 days since I SODL'd :(

If I buy in now it's prolly gonna tank again.

I'm gonna hang tight until after the fork next week and see what happens since I'm going to be in the sticks anyway. I'm guessing it'll rise regardless and that HODL'ing is the future.
