R104K right now was a good time to sell and buy in when it corrects ±R97K.

I was way too damn nervous getting into this whole thing when it was still at 58k. Ended up SODL'ing when it tanked to 38k, then it bounced back up to 48k, so I rebought the same amount I had, "costing" me more for the same coin.

Did exactly the same when it fell from 80k to 72k 2 weeks back. It immediately bounced back up but then I just spend 50% of my investment and been leaving it there to grow.

All in all I've come out on top marginally compared to what I invested, so it's not a loss for me, but I certainly did gamble away any decent profits.

So right now I'm just HODL'ing for life and actually wouldn't mind if it drops severely again because then I'll just buy in more.

I still have a screenshot on my phone of HODL'ing 1BTC when the price was super low thinking "damn this is expensive, it was way less than this only a few months ago". Hindsight eh?

Yeah....you seem to be following the same pattern I did :crylaugh:

I sold with a tiny profit now as it seems to be correcting again. I will rebuy at the next low

And obviously its not possible to sell on Luno, who would have guessed...

That's if the exchange has enough to pay you :)

Yeah also true, but I recon selling just a couple bitcoins at that and then slowly selling as the prices peak, you can create your own nice RA payout :crylaugh: month by month.

I sure it would pay you eventually if you made arrangements,

I guess its like the lotto people, nobody has that kind of money laying around
so they would probably work something out with you relating to payment every month,

I mean I noticed even FNB has a sign saying withdrawal of 50K takes 2 weeks to process

Problem with selling on luno is the 8% it charges you, so you end up missing out unless you sell way above the turn.

Sell. Was not possible to sell manually. Just gave an error that its not possible to convert the currency and to try again later. I had to load an order on the exchange.

I had the same issue yesterday when I wanted to withdraw - so I did it via the cellphone app with no problems.
Granted now I wish I had waited 1 day, but anyways... whatever :D

Since figuring out the exchange, I only use the exchange. The fees are less

No ways. 1% to buy (taker fee) last time I sold a a few BTC, then I paid 0.7% fees when I bought back in on the next dip Taker/maker spit.
