Think of it this way: does ABSA get any commission if, while standing in the teller queue to deposit some money into someone's account, you decide "this queue is too long" and walk out

I guess many people don't follow other exchanges. They have mostly bounced back a bit. Once a few start buying again everyone else who sold will start panic buying and it should hit R250k/R260k in a few minutes.

Then when there is a lightning bitcoin wallet I can upload the private key into it and redeem my lightning bitcoins?

I'm not exactly sure how the claiming process works - just go read up about it before doing anything involving your private keys - I remember reading an article way back when that there might be some risks. Google "dangers of airdrop claim private key" or similair

You can have your Bitcoins anywhere where you have access to your private key. On most exchanges you don't.

Hmm, so can you do this after the fork?

so any wallet that you generate the private key using seed words, will have the private key in the app.
