HODLING BTC, not fiat. Supply and demand. If nobody is selling, less available, so price will climb, since the ones that want in, have to pay a higher price.

twas a joke. If everyone is holding their BTC and therefore zero sales are taking place, the price won't change (since most people generally look at last traded price and that's what's shown on Luno).

what was luno rond price when BTC tagged 9940 usd???

will place buy order there

Ah! :) Yes, indeed, you are right.

These lower prices feel better for trading. Going from R145k to R150k is twice the return compared to R295k to R300k and it's moving quite fast.

How's this: Spread the word and everyone just hodl. Don't sell even one satoshi. We'll see the price on Luno climb verry quickly...

Good luck with that. LUNO seems to be infested with ignorant naive 'chicken little's'. Dumb money!

I bought a **** load at 290K and then it started falling to this

If it is of any consequence (probably not) I bought at 35k and it dropped to 23k. You have to pay your school fees, it will pass guarandamnteed!

Sitting pretty low now.. I’m crushed I need to make a few bucks for a holiday in March.. hopefully we’ll be seeing a better time then

I got in when it was around R150k but I've been playing the trading game instead of holding although I did get caught holding when it dropped quickly from R270k to R200k and now again when it dropped from R185k to R140k. In times like this I sell and rebuy for slightly lower whenever possible. Once it recovers to around R200k I'll sell and get back to trading for Fiat.

Have made enough so far that it will need to drop below R70k before I start losing my initial capital.

Lol , school fees are only due by and of Jan. Hope everyone with kids has budgeted for this , and not “invested” too much

Yeah but only if there is a massive drop (a few hundred dollars or more) in the USD price and Luno needs to catch up. It's a dangerous game.
