so it seems like this is our new home. 120 to 125, welcome gentletraders. seems like every 2 weeks we just downgrade by 10 grand or so #depressed

Last month I had a buy order in for 25K @ R120 000.00 and I thought I’m being foolish.. I put it up to R155000.00 and thought it’s a good idea.

Buy order went through and I was like hell yeah! And now I’m just like what the hell

And someone else is saying "PHEW, thank furk I found a buyer at R155k"

I'm sure they're grateful for your sacrifices
 
The Rand isn't doing us any favours. Whilst the rest of the world is trading at around 40% lower than the ATH we are trading at around 60% lower.

I remember when we first broke through the R200k barrier in early December. The USD price was around $11.5k at the time. Now we are at R140k at $11.5k.

now is a good time to ask yourself, do you really believe in bitcoin and its future?

or did you just get fomo and want a quick buck...

a lot of people who drove it up to the insane highs had not a single clue about what block-chain is and what the purpose of bitcoin is.
all they saw was easy free money... but those chickens are coming home to roost now

and as more people are educated about crypto we start seeing its true value.

A quick buck? Nope.. I’ve been with BTC from last year which is quite recent but I invested a lot at R30K.. and I had no other money to invest in right up until now.. so I invested in quite high.. and unfortunately it dropped.. I’m not complaining cause I didn’t make a quick buck.. I’m complaining cause it’s just a little depressing to see your amount lower than what it was.. lol it’s just unfortunate but in time to come it should increase

yes the price will increase if you buy more by accessing whatever cheap finance you can from your property mortgage, if you have one

Lol I don’t think I wanna take money that’s not mine to invest.. I just use cash that I have on hand rather than credit card money or you know the banks money..
 
Should increase? Based on what?
Wishful thinking or analysis of fundamentals?

You really have a lot to say on the forums whilst living off a R15k pm annuity and driving a 30yr old car.

we draw lines on the graph and call them floors, so by definition the price can't go below that, the wall of buyers will kick in that level
