it will be a bit slower, the home charger on grid runs around 7kw, and my home solar is 5kw, with the house realistically pulling around 1.5 kw during the day ( on a avg day), we can dedicate a day to charging a bit slower ( you can set the rate at which it charges in the car settings), that said, Mrs's weekly driving should easily be covered under 1 charge with a range of around 350km, that excludes the regenerative braking, with the cruise control on, driving to witbank yesterday, we regained almost 100KM, just with the car handling the downhills to charge. Left home with 100% charge for a "long road" trip , and got home with 250Km left. Put it on charge again, to get it to the recommended 80% for normal driving.
If all else fails at home, gridcars has loads of charges all over the place, can quickly charge at one of their stations , or at a bmw dealership ( or audi, or vw, or anyone really)
There is also in the car, a very low rate charger, a 2kw/h charger, which would bring it to 20KW/h over 10 hours , and the car being driven like a civilized person averages out at 19KW/h per 100KM. So there are back up options
