Sorry for only replying now.

I put up my work address for both orders.

IIRC it was SpeedServices or the Post Office themselves that delivered to my office. Was definitely not a company like DHL or RAM

Order placed!

I placed quite a few orders on the single-serving sachets so will let everyone know how they taste.

I ordered a 1kg salted caramel because salted caramel.

I also ordered the golden syrup flavoured Protein pancakes along with the butterscotch and maple flavoured 0 calorie syrups.

Did you use the 25% off discount code?

how much money do you guys spend monthly on Supps.

Well I just bought 20kg worth of Whey. That will last me until end of next year unless my eating habits change drastically and I need to drink more shakes to hit my protein macros.

Cost me R2500 and then I will probably buy 2 or 3 creatine and PWO refills in the next 12 months. +- R1000. So I spend on average R300 per month then on supps.

Not counting Vitamin D3 and Fish Oil capsules I take daily.

Varies. I like variety, so I'll always have 2 whey flavours to choose from. I'm probably going to have to go with about R1,200 to R1,750 per month.

This includes:

Whey protein
Creatine
Pre-workout
Casein
BCAAs
Fish Oil Caps
Vitamin D Caps

EDIT: You could also add another R250 per month for egg whites, which I get from Chrome.

Not a cent.

I think a lot of people needlessly throw money away.

I only buy about a 1kg of Whey per month, which costs around R350. Without it I won't be hitting close to my protein targets. I actually think that Whey powder saves money in the long if I were to compare it to eating food. I also take iron tablets as my iron levels get too low without them.

Still curious on the vitamin D though. I may add some fish oil.

agree, i find it very tough to hit targets without whey for 2 main reasons:
- very busy at work, sometimes work 6-8 hours straight without much time to stop for a meal
- on certain days i am vegan for religious reasons and not much high protein options

Fish oil i buy in bulk (365 caps) from dischem so works out pretty cheap (cant remember exact price now)

i also take a casein shake close to bed time. and it helps in two ways, firstly i'm not a ravenous polar bear when i wake up the next morning, and second really helps with DOMS.

Pre-workout on the other hand.... i know is not really necessary but is my guilty pleasure :) . but i figure most of my mates spend more than double that on going out drinking so I feel slightly vindicated.

I can't find the study now but it showed that you need to spend around 15-20min per day in the sun (depending on several factors like skin pigmentation, time of day and location) with most of your skin exposed to produce favourable Vitamin D levels. With most of us in office jobs, that is just not possible.

Vit D helps with stronger bones and teeth and also decreases risk of cardiovascular diseases, cancer and diabetes.

Thanks, didn't know that. I am in week two of my program and I must say that I am battling with DOMS. Sat in 2 hour traffic this morning and almost died when I got out of my car (leg day was on Tuesday). I may give this a try if it does not push me over my daily calorie intake.

Damn... leg day DOMS aint cool.

If you want to try it out before you commit to a whole tub of Casein you can try Cottage cheese.
I sometimes use fat free smooth cottage cheese. Pick n Pay was having a special if i recall correctly R25 for 250g.
All (or most?) of the protein in there is casein and almost zero carbs and fats. i usually split the container over two days. usually with 2 Provitas each day.

good luck with the program! the DOMS does get better after a few weeks
