Anyone know where to get USN Muscle fuel STS on the cheap?
Clicks had a nice 2 x 1kg for R199 special a while back.
Thus far it is the easiest mixing and best tasting protein I have found.

Much more of a Mass builder than a protein shake (hence the good taste) and cheap price ;-)

And what qualifies as a mass builder and what as a protein shake?

I drink 1 scoop, which has 23.3g protien and 30,5 carbs.

That’s a lot of carbs!!

Protein shakes normally has at least 80g protein per 100g (Normally Concentrate), Isolate has +- 90g per 100g and Hydro has between 95 and 99g per 100g
Look here
Protein shake (isolate)
http://www.basicsupplements.co.za/whey-protein-isolate

And here is a mass builder
http://www.basicsupplements.co.za/mass-gainer

Even on this mass builder, notice it has almost 80g Protein per 100g,

USN STS has 38g per 100g

If you are a skinny guy, then yes, use the STS, but you will need quite a bit to get your daily intake of protein, lets say you weigh 70kg, then you wil at the very least need 140g protein daily, thats almost 4 STS shakes per day!!

If you are already a big guy, you will gain weight (FAT) and allot of it.

No wonder I'm not loosing weight :)
1.8m @ 85kg's and it just stays there

Look im no expert,

But you have to limit your carbs, the only time i take in any carbs is right before training,

Its okay to take complex carbs in the morning and afternoon, and like i said you take simple carbs right before training,

Go to the www.anabolicstroids.co.za forum, ask the admin for DJ’s email adres, he can work out a perfect diet for you, he can explain everything to you in detail, he is a expert on the other hand :-P, he does charge to work out the diet though but it’s worth it.
You can also read through his sticky’s, Dieting 101 etc.

I'm sure if I can cut the coke, birthday cake @ work and the kid's unfinished nik-naks chips it will help as well.
I'm like a hoover these days, if they leave their chips I vacuum the packet :)

Yep, don't cut carbs, cut rubbish carbs. White bread, cake, sweets, chips, sugary drinks. Avoid refined sugar. Carbs are not the enemy, but if you're trying to lose fat, you need to limit certain carbs for sure. Rice instead of flour, sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes are some suggestions. General rule of thumb is whole foods help with fat burning, but always keep it balanced.

38% protein, 50% carbs.

Compare to your typical casein protein powder with 80% protein and 5% carbs.

Indeed.

As mentioned, concentrate as a rating of 80g per 100 and Isolate at 90 per 100.

A great protein powder - Nutritech 100% pure whey. 24g protein per 30g, with only 2g carbs and >1g fat. That's a protein supplement :)

Also bought 2x 2kg bags on special recently from Game, hope I don't encounter your problems, still busy excavating a 2.3kg of Evox Whey Amino.

It sucks I also have a 2kg bag from Dischem and I got a 500g super whey free.

The super whey is awesome, I pour that into milk and it basically disintegrates. I even eat it in my cereal and yogurt and sprinkle it over my KFC (just kidding on that last one)

I used to love USN Hyperbolic Mass so I reckon the whey should be just as good but not really.

Will go back to Evox.

I made this horrible farting sound with my mouth today on Close Grip Bench Press.

I was squeezing out the last rep and the air pressure from my mouth went PPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTT loud as fuarrrk

Everyone bertstared me but I just ignored it and pretended I didn't notice.

Gym at home so don't have to worry what I wear or when I swear.
But every now and again on my last last rep I might let out some funny sounding grunts.

Yeah, If you never make noise then you need to up the weight lol

Only exercise I make a sound is leg-press...Anything over 460kg and the last 2 reps are accompanied by grunts and growls.

I used to do Push Ups and Pull Ups at home. Was awesome, took 10 min rests watching pron.

But I don't have decent equipment :(

Will go Nutritech 100% pure whey then when the USN is FIN
Dude, if u plan on finishing your USN mass builder then u obviously aren't serious about losing fat. Yeah, maybe u can take it after hard gym sessions but don't take it any other time of day, IMO.

Evox has a money back guarantee within 14 days, perhaps USN has the same , assuming u havent had the USN bag that long?

@ IS

That is the one advantage of always being a heavyset person my whole life...and playing underwater hockey...got very strong legs...just getting outa bed was excersise with my tree-trunk legs (not that big due to muscle...believe me!)

Now that I'm taking lifting seriously though...all the years of lugging around all that top heavy fat at least served a purpose :p
