Aah... well it'll come back to you for sure. Yeah - Zim has definitely dropped a notch or ten. Such a pity. I want to take my wife to see the Vic falls but we'll likely see it from Livingstone side like so many other people. Perhaps I'm being silly and I should go to Zim... what do you reckon? What are the lodges on the Zim border side like these days?

Hopefully, got Yoga today which alays makes me feel 50 000x times better!!! It's a lot better than it was 4/5 years ago, would definitely recommend Zim side but I'm a tad biased:)

@IS, what are u studying??

exercise science, nutrition, first aid level 2, risk management.

Only subject worth a damn is Nutrition and Exercise Science(because of anatomy).

First Aid I never, ever want to use in real life. I would get a heart attack if I had someones life in my hands. Risk Management is mostly recreational facility management which is a load of bullchite and I never want to manage a gym. Really, Risk Management tells you things that are common sense like, 'replace a broken window, provide adequate entertainment, don't let people use broken equipment. Instead of TEACHING ME HOW TO FIX THESE THINGS WOULD BE MUCH MORE USEFUL.

I don't know what I want to do yet, but I am considering doing Dietetics after this 2 year course.

My friend studied HMS and nutrition, he tells me that sometimes they teach things that do not really agree with 'broscience'.

A typical thing that would be taught is the concept of the anabolic window (drink your protein/post-workouts 30-1hr after your workout to maximise gains) but there have been tonnes of papers disproving this.

Do you sometimes deal with the bro-sciencey stuff in your studies?

Oh yes of course, some info dates back to the 1980's!

brb body can only digest 30grams of protein per meal.
brb you can gain large amounts of muscle while losing fat
brb should not get more than 1g of protein per kg of bodyweight or you can get diseases

Absolute bollocks and we call the lecturers out on it.

Then I must be a huge disease. I go for 3-4g of protein per kg of bodyweight...but then again i skimp a bit on the carbs, so my body can use the extra protein for energy where I lack a little bit carbs in my diet.

Sorry bro, you got the Hypertrophy.

You have 6 months to live :(

How long does it take for water retention from creatine to set in? I'm on 5g a day, nothing yet after 2 days.

Does it then tend to make one look fatter once it starts working?

Full effects of creatine hits you after about a week. (from reports of users)

Thing is - are you on a cutting, maintaining or bulking diet at present?

When I last used creatine I did it to break through a ceiling on my power training and after about a week I could lift about 10kg-15kg heavier on my benches. I know - sounds crazy - but it happened. I also ate like a grasshopper back then though (ate everything I saw). Anyway, I did notice that my muscles were fuller from the water retention.

Fastforward to today (day 5 of using creatine again) and being on a cutting diet I am not noticing any water weight gain - yet. Will most likely see impact next week. Will keep you posted.

Right - so my back is still a little sore, but my next program doesn't involve heavy lifting, and doesn't include deadlifts, so I think I'm ready for Monday.

Did chest again today, after doing it on Wednesday aswell - went up to 110kg, but only for 1.5reps :p So still a fair bit weaker than the beginning of last year.

Aiming for 45kg for 100 reps at the end of six weeks - did 40kg for 40 today after 11 heavyish sets - so I think its achievable.

I also plan on loosing 15kg in the next 10 week with minimal strenth loss.

That's a serious CUT!

You using Clen/Yohm stack to hit that target? Not that I don't think it's doable without it, but maintaining strengh and shredding 3lbs of fat a week...10500 calories of fat you have to torch a week...DAMN!

What eating strategy are you going to follow to get your there? IF, Keto, balanced?

you taken any time off to let it heal?

45kg x 100 reps, eff me I am quite strong but that is some serious endurance if you can do that.

I should actually check how many continuous pushups I can do now, I am sure I could hit 100 now

Anyone here put coconut oil on their food, I was watching a Mike Change video and dieting and sprucing up your meals and he added coconut oil.

Damn, that is impressive.

Just following the HIIT 100s program, diet included, worked it out to around 3000 calories.

I'll also be doing cardio 3x a week in the evenings, nothing major, 4-5km jog and 1.2km swim

I'll be happy with a 8-10kg loss, but want to aim for maximum.

Taken about six weeks off, but its been so easy to re-injure, just picking up the wrong thing hurt it

If I can do 40kg x 40 after a full chest session - I can probably do about 60-70 without doing a full chest session, so hopefully 45kg will be possible in 6 weeks :p

I tapped out the various pharmacies they wouldn't give me anymore without a prescription :p I was in serious pain, couldn't bed at all till about weeks ago.

I'll be doing a deload tomorrow.

Shoulders, Elbows and wrists are killing me. So I'll be doing my normal routine but half the weight and 60% of the volume.
