Anybody bought from BSSA recently? If so what was their service like and delivery time.

Some of their prices are really good but I waited weeks to get everything last time I ordered around 6 months ago.

According to anabolic - their service is back on par... personally, not trying.

Got my casein slow release, which I make into a pudding at night, this week.
So far it is going good, it tastes almost like mousse and after a few evenings I have now gotten used to it to the point of me craving it after dinner. Lets hope I can now discipline myself to leave the kiddies chocolates alone :)

*i got it from the chrome supplements shop here in centurion, since it was sold out on their website.

I microwave sweet potato, then remove contents, throw away peels and mash with 2 scoops chocolate whey, surprised how desert like it can be.

Today was my second leg session - went light last week hoping not to get stiff this week... I can't squat atm because of my back, and I'm doing a keto diet, so limiting my reps to low and heavy. I can hardly stand today, so tomorrow is going to be painful. And I don't even feell I did much in the leg department.

Leg Press:
275 kg x 5 reps
315 kg x 5 reps
395 kg x 5 reps
435 kg x 5 reps
435 kg x 5 reps
Lying Leg Curls:
55 kg x 5 reps
62.5 kg x 5 reps
62.5 kg x 5 reps
62.5 kg x 5 reps
55 kg x 5 reps
Leg Extensions:
100 kg x 5 reps
105 kg x 5 reps
110 kg x 5 reps
115 kg x 5 reps
125 kg x 5 reps (machine doesn't go higher)

Doing a two day split, Monday (Legs/Back/Biceps) and Tuesday (Chest/Shoulders/Tricepts) then just cardio - and on Fridays the weight circout. For six weeks - this week is a bit of an exception because I was STILL sick till yesterday.

How much was it?

Are any of you guys using Lion Supplements Whey Protein? I tried ordering via online but their webpage has indicated that they are out of stock for weeks now, I've tried contacting them to no avail...are there any stores in Cape Town that maybe sell their products?

No - not after some of my stuff arrived expired - and they kept promising a replacement and it never happened. Their service became really crap, three months for delivery, not responding to emails, promising delivery and it not happening, etc

They apparently back to normal service again, but I'm not taking the chance - and I won't deal with a company that treats what was a loyal customer like that.

My last supplier also went up in price, so I just ordered from Chrome today - impressed so far, ordered this morning, problem with the payment, so emailed them, they called, reordered, paid, and its on the way:

I ordered: http://www.chromeshop.co.za/brands/nutritech/100-pure-whey-3-200kg.html

Not iso - but low in carbs, and relatively cheap.

EDIT: From your snip - I think that was round about the last date I ordered from them - order arrived months later.
Thanks, I'll think twice before using BSSA then.

Holy cow , SSN have revamped their 100% whey packaging and it's gone up about R200 at supplement world, now R799 for 2kg.

Still R539 via Chrome shop though.

Supplement companies are going to price themselves out of the market. There will come a time where people rely just on food.

Looks good. Low on carbs also.

Marked down from R485 to around R180 something, thought it was a price error as when I got to the tills the scanner picked up old price so I had to say No no.

Definitely one of the better mixing wheys I have used.
they had 7 tubs there and I took 3, came back later that afternoon but everything left was gone.

+1 , the pricing is just crazy, I for one will look for good deals and rather stick to eating better quality food.

I wonder if this isn't a pricing error. Makes no sense why the price would jump like that! Gonna buy a 2kg + 500g free from Dischem for R589. edit: 500g free was sold out :( Dischem Claremont have the newly designed SSN containers now.

Also, did i mention the USN guy during a previous visit at Dischem told me bananas post workout are bad. The potassium prevents muscle repair or something. I speak under correction, but the gist of it was pre workout they are good. Post workout they are bad. The topic of discussion was using food sources for my carbs instead of relying on a mass gainer post workout.

Still finishing my evox lime whey :)

Also I take 4 heaped spoons instead of two after a workout. So 64g roughly
