I never do, keeps me motivated! Holy cow I'm weak I can only squat 60, better work on improving;)

Neither do I, thought it was just a "given" :)

Managed to squat 80KG on the bar yesterday (so 100KG??) x 8 reps and deadlift 60KG x 8. Not a deep squat, but my thighs were parallel to the floor. Not bad if I do say so myself after kicking cancer's ass (5 years since diagnosis and 4 years since stem cell transplant). I'm still a far cry from the strength I used to have, but getting back slowly :D

I found that static concentration exercises helped increase the amount of weight I could handle. Has anyone here tried that before?

NUtritech all the way :D R599 for 3.2kg.

Dischem had a special on Biogen Isowhey last week, R589 for 3kg.

They have a "buy 1 get 1 free" special at the moment on mass gainer for anyone who is interested. Looked like a very large bag...

****, well done mate.

From next week I will be adding 20 minutes of cardio in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening after my normal training. Need to get rid of this lil bit of fat before I go to Mauritius on the 27th :o

Starting to seize on almost every exercise in the 5th set, getting tough now.

Question on benching, is it ok to kind of bounce the weight off my chest? I'm not just totally dropping it and hoping I dont break my ribs, just a little touch. Or must I rather come to a dead stop and then start pushing up?

Considered cheating by some, but you see a lot of guys doing it(then again you also see a lot of guys doing squats only a 1/4 way down lol), certainly gives you some momentum to get the weight back up again(which prevents your pectoral muscle from properly working at the bottom) I personally don't do it

Same company. Different brand for different range of products. The SPN the Professional range. That's all there is to it.

Got myself a 10kg medicine ball :) Carried it around the shop for like 20 minutes then put it in the car. Went to get some beers and I almost flung 2 cases :D

Medicine balls are incredible training tools.

I have only recently started to use them (and foam rollers) in my core training and sweet baby heavenly angels does it work you!

Russian twists with a 10kg with feet off the floor...mother of pearl you die!

I am going to try the Russian twists :D I thought it was pretty cheap R299 for a 10kg. I got one of those slamming ones?

Fan-damn-tastic exercise for working those obliques and serratus muscles. Also lower abs when keeping feet off the floor. Is a killer.

Do you guys bother with casein and if so, do you go for the 100% casein powders (instead of blends such as Evox Synergy)? Nutritech and Evox seem to be the cheapest options. Both are R399 for 1kg for 100% casein.
