So basically what the industry already knew!![]()
Surely Nutritech is not the best value for money Whey since their prices went up to R699 for the 3.2kg, is it?
I see Supplements SA Whey is R595 for 3kg at www.supplementworld.co.za/ and they do free shipping on order above R200.
Anybody order from them on a regular basis?
Its rather disappointing, just noticed the price increase yesterday. Probably has something to do with USN - and them changing ingredients.
I used to order from Supplementworld.co.za quite frequently, last time was in 2013 - I'm about to order the above.
Arrived yesterday, just as my nutritech finished.
Ordered the coffee - ****ty flavour compared to nutritech :'(
Yep. I'm sure you had a point in there![]()
I know it's USN but this seems like a decent deal and creatine mono is creatine mono no matter who bottles it right? - www.takealot.com/usn-creatine-monohydrate-205g-205g/PLID28059157
Any negatives associated with taking something like this?
The Bottom Line
Looking at the current body of research, it's safe to say:
Creatine does not cause damage to skeletal muscle or the heart, liver, or kidneys.
Creatine, at this moment in time, seems to be fine for kidney disorders that are not characterized by edema and tissue swelling.
Based on limited research, it is probably wise to avoid creatine supplementation if you have polycystic kidney disease, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, or another kidney disorder characterized by tissue swelling.
This will answer any questions you have http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/is-creatine-safe-how-the-king-of-supps-affects-your-organs.html
Thank you. Have read through that, it doesn't mention any mood swings or any of that type of side effects? I googled and could only find old articles relating to that - does this mean it was never the creatine?

For the record I highly recommend creatine, it's my primary supplement followed by Bicarbonate of Soda for my pre-workout
So bi-carb and creatine as a pre-workout?
Creatine and bicar together after my workout and during my workout, I don't believe on the loading phase bs so just get 10g of creatine in per day you can decide when.
20-30g bicarbonate with water as my preworkout. It sounds silly but try it.
This sounds interesting. Will give it a go.
Sometimes I work out really early in the mornings, don't have time to eat before. This shouldn't effect my training right? I mean I still feel good while training.
Don't know? I have no energy in the morning hence my workouts are after 4:30pm
The bicarbonate of soda, after your first set you feel feel things crawling under your skin like nitrogen oxide
So I managed to get a spinning bike for my rowing machine.
Damn. It is a completely different type of cardio.
Took me a while but I worked my way up to 45-50min of pretty intense rowing.
Now I can not even manage 10min on the spinner before I feel like collapsing from exhaustion.
My legs start burning intensely from about 6min. After 10min I walk(don't know if you can call it walking) away like I've done a thousand squats.
I can't quite place this dudes accent. Any guesses?
