Woop. Finally hit that 15% bf mark. 7% down in as many weeks - even with not training for 2 weeks due to work. Useless.

Onward to the 10% barrier in 6 weeks. Then 4 weeks keto and I should be at 7% or 8% and target will have been reached.

First thing you do once you hit 8% is go to the beach.

Nice thing is...I'm a solid 97kg now. I was quite bulky (lotsa fat at 22%) and over 100kg's...I'm keeping and adding a little lean mass while cutting now. Already got the ab "box" showing - something I never had haha and top 4 abs showing slightly.

Only drawback...losing strength due to low carb intake. Dropped 20kg from my bench since I started to keep hitting my 10-12 reps on my 4th set on barbell (only repping 100kg now). It was to be expected...but seeing the strength go is a bit of a downer...Hoping to get it all back when I bulk a bit from 1st of July. Expect my comparison pic come mid June hehe.

I tried the low carb thing last year a couple months before December and saw some nice results.
I'm currently eating everything in site thats good for me, all natural stuff.
Come August I'll start some serious cutting.
Constantly learning and adopting new things into my regime, luckily I'm tenacious when it comes to gymming.

That's the way to do it! Always learning and improving as you go along. I've tried many times before to lose weight etc...but being a dumbass I use to eat way too little - even going low carb and completely neglegting healthy fats in the macro ratio. So...got my knowledge updated and what do you know? Better results in a few weeks than previous years of crappy knowledge training and eating.

Controlled (low) carb intake is great as long as balanced by healthy fats in the mix. Add on some serious training and you have the perfect combo to cut serious fat (specially if you a heavy like me).

There's a reason you get raw and assisted lifting competitions, thats just one example.

Okay, are we talking about competition or regular Joe's in the gym? From my experience at both a small private gym and a large VA, most gym users use nothing more than gloves and the occassional lifting belt and these offer minimal performance benefits, if at all. You'd rarely find a regular Joe wearing a squat suit or a bench shirt, two items that offer a noticeable increase in performance.

I don't dispute that some accessories offer performance gains, but you'd have to look at the competitors to see them being utilised.

I did not want to leave the gym today :D

I was only supposed to do OHP, Incline Bench, lateral raises, skullcrushers etc

But I was having a good time so I did biceps, forearms and a lot of it.

First time I actually had to start my playlist over.

Sadly that leaves me with just back tomorrow :(

Ooooh I'm also a big fan of eminem got a bunch of his songs on my playlist.

Err... whats that got to do with ***** pads, my wife squats 60kg+ without them? I lift like you should, raw... some guys come kitted out as if they're about to play an American Footbal match.

Injuries are part of all sports ;) Using a ***** pad doesn't stop you from getting injured.
Just to be clear, what kinds of pads are we talking here? What is a 5 star pad?

How do u guys play your own (iPod?) music cause doesn't it need to be quite loud to drown out the VA music? Though Hemps IIRC you have a home gym... When i tried in the past it seemed like I had to make my music so loud, too loud to be good for these old ear drums of mine :p

what programme r u following to get ripped?

Edit: dropped 1kg and 1% myself in the last two weeks cause no more junk to snack/eat in the house.

As was mentioned by someone here, if I cut out the ice cream and chocs I should lose fat. I have also been missing some gym days and when I do that then I eat less calories on those days.
