So this weekend I went and got some Jack3d.
Hey guys so a little deviation over the current conversation but I've been on a diet for 1 month. lost about 1kg per week. Now as usual my lifts have plummeted at least by 1 plate. I wasn't taking any creatine nor was I taking any pre-workout. My rationale being that I can carefully track my weight. However in hindsight this is a bad idea, I've lost progress on my lifts and feel discouraged because of it. So this weekend I went and got some Jack3d. Yesterday morning I ate 3 boiled eggs and bacon. Downed some jack3d and I ended up having a 1.5hr long gym session. Needless to say I feel so much better now.
I can see how losing progress makes you not wanting to go, I have my own reasons for skipping a lot recently.
That said, eating more always helps getting the progress back on trackIf you lost weight, its because you ate below maintenance, and you need to eat more than maintenance to keep the progress going.
I'm also thinking of getting some pre-workout again.
how many servings in your jack3d?
Isnt this the one they wanted to ban ?
Sunday afternoon, gear myself for a hectic bench session:
3 sets x 6 reps flat bench with most weight I can handle, all to failure.
3 sets x 8 reps incline bench to failure.
4 sets x rep to failure - flat bench using cable crossover machine for flyes.
3 sets x rep to failure - standing lower cable crossover, these really burned.
4 sets x rep to failure - standing top cable crossover's, by now I was really stuffed.
Had me protein shake with milk like usual, come 9pm my vision starts to blur and I feel exhausted so go to bed.
Wake up around 2am to throw up, farken dry heaves.
Lay in bed going from hot to cold, hot to cold, think my immune system took a bettering?
My chest hurts like a mutha today....still very much out of it.
Are any of you here 35 or older?
Since I'm 37, single, not married, it's motivation enough to keep in good shape. No boep for me. and even when I do settle down one day I don't ever see myself 'letting go' as most married people seem to do!
Take the kids with once they around 4-5 years. I see some dads doing it at VA Tygervalley. Pretty cool to see the dads teaching their kids to get used to going to the gym from a young age. Wish I had that opportunity as a kid.
Plan on doing this with my kid.
If you're old enough to walk, you're old enough to lift weights.

For boys? I don't think so, though as soon as they go through puberty, when their natural test is at their highest, is when they can make the most improvements without needing any supplements, just pure muscle growth.I've heard that if you start serious lifting at too young an age, you might stunt your growth![]()
