Supplements won't do jack. You need to change your diet and play with how many calories you are taking in.

What supplements can one reccomend to help get through a plateau? The only supplements i have used were whey protein, a mass gainer and creatine and have never taken anything else.

I am looking for something to give my system a bit of shock or change to help pull through the plateau. I am caffiene sensitive, so dont want anything like that.

Any thoughts on testosterone boosters?

Sounds like you need to improve your diet and change your workouts? Trust me most people have enough testosterone as it is.

Seems like diet is the common theme. Will look at this, however this is one thing which is the hardest to change (because i live with other people who prepare the meals).

Changing the workout - I change my workout every now and then. Last change was in December i have stuck to that one for these two months without seeing any gains.

+1 make more meals for yourself.

Getting the body you want, is 80% what you do in the kitchen (ie. diet) and 20% in the gym (ie. exercise)

I think I feel the start of a flu coming on. Only my throat is sore when I swallow, but no runny nose, sore joints, aches etc yet. I'm also drinking some vitamin c and viral guard to hopefully fight the flu away.

Would you guys say I'm still good for my exercise tonight?

What kind of vegetarian? lacto/ovo/pesci/vegan?

What kind of plateau are you trying to overcome? Muscle size/growth? Weight not increasing? Lifts not increasing?

Well....uh ouch.

I guess it can be done, but you need to not only eat a lot of calories, you need a combination of all of:
1. Protein (most important)
2. Carbohydrates (2nd important when gaining weight)
3. Fats (healthy diet)

If you don't eat meat, you throw out the #1 best source for proteins. You are left with eggs, protein shakes and not much more.
You want fish, meat and chicken in your diet!

AFAIK Soya is the vegetarians/vegans number one source of protein, they manage just fine, they even have a website to tell you how well they are doing.

I am a vegan. I try and cater for the lack of protein in the diet by supplementation. I.e. i take a mass gainer (protein and carb combination) during the day, and whey protein after my workout.

Lifts are not increasing.
