What music do you guys listen to while in the gym?

Metal and punk all the way for me, might try some hip hop soon also, for dat gang feel

I'm a weirdo.. I listen to audio books or podcasts. I'm currently listening World War Z.. yeah I know :o

I would do that too if the gym music they play wasn't so loud :(

Maybe a silly question, but shouldn't the protein supplement come with a cup of some kind? :confused: Got the Nutritech 3.2kg tub... Had to resort to the ultra accurate 6 teaspoons to get to the 30g serving size
Bought that size as well.
3.2kg is R599 at Xtreme Nutrition, Canal Walk. R499 for the 2.5kg bag.
 
I also listen to either podcasts audiobooks or ministry messages. I loathe gym music and I like to be cut off while I'm in there.
 
My back is feeling a bit better, at least it doesn't seem as bad as last year.

My week of going for maxes is shot though - and next week I'm starting to cut calories, so next time I guess.

Do you actually compete in events xrapidx?
 
Not going to have time to get a workout in tomorrow (SL5x5), should I try shifting it forward to today, or am I just going to end up hurting myself since I did get a session in yesterday?

Nah... thought about it, and occasionally compare myself to meet results , but I don't think I have the dedication to train for competition. For me its about stress relieve. (I'm assuming you're talking about powerlifting, not bodybuilding)

Since seriously hurting my back last year this time my lifts have been less than stellar, in fact, I was strongest in December 2011, never gotten back to that level. I'm hoping to fix that this year by dropping my weight considerably, and building clean.

I was thinking about that, but its a mission since I'm signed up at the gym close to work, not close to home. If the risk doing it today is too much though, then it'll have to be Saturday
 
Find exercising without music boring, Eminem, ACDC, MegaDeth gets me in the mood and focused.
End my session with super sets listening to Superman theme.

Only on squats do I have to take iPhone out my shorts pocket because it gets squashed.

Damn, was 38 degrees in my garage yesterday.
