Some days your shoulders just complain more than others. Today I suffered big time on the incline press and flyes- my shoulders were just eina on the down movement. Some days they are crying to be stretched but today is just not one of those!

I blame stress and work!
Moar gym, less stress!!!

Awesome. Go for pure whey or casein (casein is slower release so good for before bed). Egg protein is also good but don't take a supplement for mass gains, rather just up your food intake with natural foods and supplement with whey, casein or egg protein IMO. Sweet potatoes, potatoes and rice are all good for bulk phases. Drink lots of water and eat plenty fibre. Oat bran in your cereal helps too. Veggies keep the system ticking over nicely too. Protein is definitely necessary but not the be all and end all. Clean carbs from whole sources are your best bet for putting on weight.

Rich probably had that build before Crossfit. Wasn't he an American football player in college?

Also:
" It’s interesting to note that all of the areas of focus within Crossfit’s definition deal with issues of performance (as do 8/10 of the NSCA guidelines).*The favorable changes in body composition that occur with Crossfit, are a by-product of creating as much competency as possible in these 10 areas, NOT THE PRIMARY FOCUS. The reality is that if Rich Froning looked like John Goodman, he’d still win the Crossfit Games if his totals didn’t change. Yes, to the average male, Rich Froning is a Greek God. To the average bodybuilder, Rich has a physique that would get him laughed offstage.*"

Nobody who looks like John Goodman has a hope of winning crossfit games. I'm missing your point I think.

Not sure if you're disagreeing with my points though...

Crossfit! Very cool for strength and cardio and weight loss.

Size and strength are not the same thing. The average pro bodybuilder would have a heart attack before doing 10 giant sets of pull-ups + bench. Heck, many won't even be able to do 10 pull ups x 10 sets, kipping or otherwise.

What you get from crossfit style training is a good balance of overall fitness and strength - upper and lower body. It's a very practical kind of strength that you can use every day.

^^My bad, reading on cell phone (yeah, size and strength are different things) and didn't watch the videos u posted yet. Limited to 3G.

I think I've just discovered that my fav pre workout doesn't agree with me. I've always been sensitive to caffeine hence I use a caffeine free preworkout... never noticed anything off with this stuff... Last night I had serious insomnia and found myself depressed - the third time I've had a night like that, though last night it was pretty bad. The one thing in common was taking that supp late in the afternoon. Going to give it a miss for a month and see how it goes. Nitritech Vaso no3 - anyone else using, let us know if you've had similar symptoms?

Happened when I used Jack3D the one with crack cocaine in it

1 3-dimethylamylamine (DMAA) is the latest "high" to be put in pre-workout.
Some like it... others don't...
I found it to be stronger in in products like "Berserker" than the ones i currently use.(Nutritech dynamite).

That's a banned substance

@Arietans: I use Vaso NO3 at around 5pm every day and haven't had any bad reaction to it. Are you using something else in your stack perhaps? Also, are you sticking to max 2 scoops?

Nah, I'm keeping it simple, but I'll monitor it I think. Could be the added stress from work right now - cortisol is bad for you...
