Off topic but there is something in the water I tell you. Yesterday evening my two gym buddies and I were all totally drained and struggling hectic! I looked up and it seemed every single person in the gym were not keen. No smiles, all struggling, even the regulars and personal trainers. And I observed this for a while.

Must be a month end thing or something :D maybe the change of seasons :/ gym wasn't even busy but it seemed everyone had the same idea as us and we just waited for equipment the whole time.

Yeah, that is why I moved to a smaller and more hardcore gym this week. I have only waited once for 3 minutes in 4 gym sessions!!

I dont have money to waste on sups atm so any advic ON MAINTAINING what I already have in muscle mass and definition.

Work out your BMR, find out how many calories you need to eat a day to maintain and do 40/40/20% (prot/carbs/fat) that equals the total for the day. Don't eat junk food or crappy carbs.

So I went out and got me some of that SSN 100% Whey (Cookies and Cream flavour :p ) It seems as though Dischem is also now stocking it.

Chris, is it quite thin? Just comparing it seems very thin to any other shake I have tried. 30 grams for 250ml (even 60g in 400ml) is thin.

This thread is quiet.

I have not lifted weights in a few years. Just signed up at the gym forever. :D

I'm hoping I'll enjoy it as much as I used to.

:)

Whey is thinner than normal shakes as it doesn't contain all the other crap that is in meal replacement or mass gainer shakes. I take a double serving in the morning before gym and then another one serving after gym... the double serving is just to get the body going again after sleep.

Edit: as another update, my body has adapted to the no carbs diet :( I lost 5kg the first week, 2 the second and only 0.5 last week. I have now switched to 3days no carbs and 2 days little carbs to see if I can trick it lol

Chris_H, besides your diet whhat r you using for weightloss? Clen/ECA/WASP? Heat is a pretty damn good ECA stack. My lady is using it now.

I am currently using HMT's Amped Hardcore but will be looking at some ECA within the next two weeks after the bottle is finished...

Can someone help me get buff in the shortest amount of time possible? Obviously without steroids.

I just got a test-tost-eron jab in my buttocks. The Gym is closed. Now what?

Now you wait two weeks until the stuff starts working and then go gym... really ... dude ... wtf?

Sorry to say, not going to happen before summer if that is your target, but you could try and do 4 exercises x 4 sets at 20 reps per muscle group and take creatine, should blow up whatever muscle you have a bit...

I injured my left bicep on Monday(didn't warmup properly). A guy at the gym suggested I take creatine as it speeds up the healing process.
Would it be a good idea to take his advice?

Hi guys,

When would one start taking a protein supplement? I have just started a pushup routine and I am still stiff and sore as hell two days later.

I don't gym and do weights. I exercise at home - exercise bike, pushups, crunches, pull up bar and do my kung fu forms.

In what situation would you advise me to take protein supplements - would it help for the hurting muscles etc?

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks
J
