200kg deadlift :)

Anyone else training through December holidays? Did 12 sets of deadlifts this morning - thought I was going to die.

I am but not as normal, also going to a private gym now during the holidays times go a bit weird on the public holidays

Need a preworkout meal?

At the moment I take protein shake + creatine mix 1 hr before I gym.
Have heard wonders about oats?
Tried it but it's dry and chewy, dont have a place at work to cook the oats, should I blend them and add to shake?
No microwave oven at work?

Hello all I'm a beginner in weightlifting @nd currelntly I am using biogen iso whey(I was recommended)but what I have read up on it I see its not a good product I thinking of switching to evox please all suggestions welcome

I like evox, you can also try Ondiers stuff, he should be around here and will pop in and you can pm him.

What don't you like about biogen?

Some guys say evox gives them bad gas

Think Biogen is Dischem's in house brand, never tried the whey... Evox rock (IMO) - and Ondler's stuff rocks harder. :p

I'm starting a strict diet tomorrow :( put on 8kg over my 3 weeks leave... even with 6-days a week training. Did Smolov Jnr for Bench with Shoulders and Deadlifts in between if anyone is looking for something challenging.

Dude how in the fark do you put on 8kg in 3 weeks whilst training?

What's ondlers?

Ondier is a member of the forum, just like me and you.

I seem to have lost a lot of strenght recently, size and muscle are still there, but can hardly finish sets I would done easily about 6 months ago.
Eg: shoulder press I could start on 60kg, then 70 and finish a set on 80kg.
Now I'm struggling on 50kg.
I'm not lacking in energy, getting enough sleep. What could it be?

Eat more? You eating right?

Drink more water?

Something has changed, what is it?

Have ?ÔÚ tried creatine or using anoter creatine?

why do guys always jump to supplements?

Creating isn't going to help him regain strength magically :/

Nothing unusual, food intake and water intake is normal...
Oh well, will see what January brings

Starting strength is pretty awesome to be honest. Going to start it (again) in a few weeks. Just have to get a form check from the physio (spelling?) first, since I have some lower back problems and the last time I started squatting and dead-lifting it got quite painful on the right side of my hip/lower back. =(

Today I was reading up @nd apparantly whey protein is bad for specific blood types does anyone know if this is true?
