Lipo six works best, with a controlled diet of course.
Hi guys.

I have a question about supplements:
I'm a 1.81m, 103kg guy with about 18% body fat.

I want to lose some fat, but also not build too much muscle.
I'm happy with my size, if I get any bigger I won't be able to run half-marathons etc etc.

Which supplements would you okes suggest?
Currently I'm using nothing, have been training for three months, after a break of four years and heavy drinking :)
I'm mostly rowing, jogging, slight weight-lifting and cycling.
As stated, I'd like to cut my fat % down to say 11-14%.

My diet is okay, getting better as I get fitter, next step would be to include snacks between meals and reduce the size of my main meals.

ZMA?
Nitrix Oxide?
Surely not creatine?
Fat burners?

Suggestions would be great, thanks guys!

I would say get a good protein shake 2-3 times a day- that will aid in building lean muscle which will in turn boost your metabolism = burning fat.

Also L Carnitine is used for burning fat as well and is mostly used by bbuilders before contest- but it is so cheap.
This is the label info for L Carnitine:
L- Carnitine Base (99.4%) 200g
L- Carnitine comes with the following three main extensions: Base (99.4% pure), L-Fumarate (58.4% pure) and L- Tartrate (67.5% pure) with Base obviously being the most decent and beneficial product of the three. Carnitine might be very beneficial especially to pre-contestants. Fats are burned for energy inside muscle cells at structures called the mitochondria. L – Carnitine assists by battling early fatigue during workouts, premature muscle failure and general sluggishness. A well-stocked reserve of L- Carnitine allows you to efficiently convert stored fat into expandable energy which allows you to train harder while burning fat more efficiently.

Dosage and Directions: Add 1 – 2 grams to your pre-workout shake, 30 – 60 min before workout.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place

Oh yes and with the heavy partying your Test levels probably went down so ZMA will boost that and aid in good sleep

Ja it doesn't smell too good but luckily it doesn't taste like it smell :)

I quote from the Muscle Evolution Mag of October page 64:
"In a three month clinical trial, 18 test subjects were given 2g of L Carnitine per day or a placebo, along with physical training and a diet programme. The results were that the L Carnitine group lost an avarage of 5.1kg, while the placebo group lost an avarage of 0.518kg"

interesting... is it something you'd take always? Or only when you plan on loosing weight?

Well the article is about supplements you should use pre contest- I couldn't find any side effects online with prolonged use so I guess it will stay in my shake :)

@ Spazmatic - no problem brother :)

It shows you how slow my connection is haha! My ADSL is down so I'm using a 3g stick- but my house is against the mountain so signal is very bad here- I thought it didn't go through the first time or that is how long it takes to post my "quick" reply.

WTF did I say now?

What the macro's?

I discovered a pretty good breakfast - cup of egg whites, 12tbsp salsa, 1/3 cup low fat cheese.

My estimate is you should be aiming at around 2581 calories for weight loss
P:235
F: 83
Carb: 222

Assuming you moderatetely active.
