I'm sure it doesn't stick around for long either.
From research if you eating a 120g of beef is the same as eating a 300g of beef, you get the same boost according to dietitians as your body depending on overall size can only absorb 20 - 30g protein in one sitting.

Dieticians also recommend the food pyramid.

I need a rugby player's diet. I wish I could consume 3000+ calories (healthily) a day, but I can't seem to do it.

Anyone to share their diet plans?

Apparently not all the players in a team lift heavy weights, it all depends on your position on the field, I read there are some guys who gym hard as would a bodybuilder (think Pierre Spies and the Beast) and others like Hougaard that do more resistance training and boxing etc.
I always thought they all just gym-ed and ate like monsters.

Lol, have you seen how strong the beast actually is...every time he holds a player in the air, I go...I WANT THAT STRENGTH! It is insane just how strong that man is.

But it is interesting what you say.

Well he is a rugby player and not a power lifter after all :P At some point fitness will bring your strength down imho.

To me however, those are pretty stats, because for my bodyweight I will probably never get that high.

Remember he's huge though... so I was expecting more.

Although the more fitness orientated ones are more impressive, flat out sprinting 800 odd meters :p

I'm sure he probably could do way more BUT if you get injured then your screwed.
I saw the guy at Hemmingways in East London last year, the guy is a beast, if you get klap from him you'll feel it, well when you finally come out of the coma.

On the field he doesn't look so big next to other rugby players from various countries.

I had a massive headache after my Deadlift routine yesterday, i have had them before ever so slightly, think it's got to to with my breathing, maybe not getting enough oxygen on the lifts?
My vision was dodgy as well 30min after, i was watching TV and couldnt make out characters on TV 100%.

I am sore today so I know i worked hard, maybe too hard.

Also watch your form, you could be straining your neck muscles?

I used to get that from squats... can't remember the cause... Try drink more water.

My right trapezius is tense today, cant rotate my neck all the way to my right.
I can actually feel it's rock hard on the one side, the other side is a bit softer.

I Read sore neck muscles can also give you eye strain which I have often.

Think it's from dropping and rising too quickly, especially on Deadlifts when you cannot always place the weight down correctly, that and standing up too quickly after placing the weight on the floor.

Lol don't laugh at me but I play wii boxing for 20 mins after my weight workouts for my cardio :D

We used to do shadow boxing at my old gym when I was studying, actually a decent cardio session, as long as you keep your arms up.
