Sent an email to three different email addresses, and filled in their online Returns form yesterday morning, and still no response.

If this is the way they are now going to treat clients, good riddance, I've put up with their month long delivery times for the whole year, placing over R1000 orders every 6 or so weeks, and they don't even have the decency to acknowledge my email.

I've recommended BSSA to a ton of people, but if they don't respond, I'll be doing the opposite.

Sent another email - got a reply saying they'll replace the item.

Well - Wednesday, and nothing from them. I emailed yesterday evening for an update.

While I understand they are under pressure because of the financial and stock issues - there's no excuse for this kind of service.

I ordered this product in May - its specific to the diet I'm on, which ends in around six weeks - and I most likely won't be on it again this year, meaning I am going to get absolutely no use out of this product by the looks of it, which means R250 down the drain.

I'm not even sure if they're going to replace it, so at the moment, I haven't opened it...
 
Emailed BSSA once again, their level of service has deteriorated so badly that I will most likely no longer be supporting them. I have recommended them to MANY people - and will no longer do so.

I have now waited six weeks for a product I can't really use... I have no idea whether they will honour their word and replace it, as they ignore emails asking wtf is going on - at this stage I think I'm going to cut my losses and use the stuff before it expires. I've spent a few thousand with them, they threw it away any future thousands over R250 of expiring stock.

This has nothing to do with "stock" levels or "cash flow" problems.

Unfortunately, as I have said before, service makes or breaks an online store - and if you piss off so many people with bad service, you're going to fail, I'd rather pay the 30% more and know I'm going to get reliable service.
 
And again, after sending a second mail did I get a response saying they will still replace them - and I must use what they have.

I recon I'm going to use them, and just write off the replacement at this stage, I'm not going to beg, and keep contacting them, if they don't replace them - I don't use BSSA again, if they do - I'll use them once their issues are sorted out.

speaking of Protein powders, on my last 2kg Tub of Evox whey, chocolate flavour.
How much added sugar do you think these guys add to their products to make them taste nice.
I order the unflavoured stuff from BSSA which doesnt taste bad, I dont think many bodybuilders really care about the taste, so why do most products have flavours?

Have you ever tasted unlfavoured casein protein?

I think Evov has 6.50-7.50g of carbs per 100g.

Me too, I've referred a few friends, even given away some isolate to prove the quality.
But now, I placed an order 5/6weeks ago for over R1k. I've been told every week that next week my order is coming - nothing, nothing, nothing ever coming.
 
Nope, does it taste kak.

Something like sour milk - and it doesn't mix well - so lumpy :p I really struggled getting it down.

Unflavoured with peanut butter is what I currently have... or when I'm back on carbs, unflavoured + Pro10 Berry flavouring.
 
I am on 5xl and still struggling to gain, I still need to eat more. Thinking of switching to a builder with more carbs per serving
 
I couldn't gain weight at all, though my strength did go up, and bf% did go down. Then almost a year in after starting 5x5 for the second time I took some err PHs and that helped me.

ps. Saw this posted on Fitocracy in the Starting Strength group, thought it was funny.

guys, more emphasis should be put on real foods, supplements are supplements ie. for when you too lazy to prepare the real thing. If you want to gain like the best, eat like the best.
 
Intermittent fasting?

Read up on it - but I think I'll stick to carbs/protein for building :p and calorie deficit for loss (although I'm trying keto at the moment)
