I have read that pushups with the hands close together will work the inner chest more than a normal pushup.

You sure about that?

It should be the same as a benchpress, ie. closer-grip works triceps more and a wider grip works the chest more. Maybe it does work your inner chest more on a close-grip, but your failing point will be based on the tricep strength vs the chest strength. At least that is what my logical thinking says, I could be wrong.

When I get to my last set, it starts to feel super heavy, but its mostly my grip that has a problem. The next days I won't have any pain in my legs or lower back, but I definitely feel it in my fore-arms and a tiny bit in the upperback.

I feel it in mainly lower back , little in upper back depending on my grip width but hardly ever in my legs?
My abs also get a run through as well and front delts which I why I skip front delts these days and focus more on rear:
Seated nehind the neck overhead barbell press - 15, 6-8, 6-8, 6-8
Bent over laterall raise - 15, 8, 8, 8
Standing reverse cable fly - 10, 10, 10
Lastly Seated Military press - 8,8,8

Deadlift is King though.

Can anyone confirm that glutamine is a protein?

Still, envious of how much you guys DL. Is my low bodyweight holding me that much back?

I've generally noted that some people are just better at certain exercises... deadlifts are my strongest, and squats my weakest.

I posted a link earlier about strength levels on various lifts per body weight.

Yeah I try to transfer as much of the weight to be moved by my legs instead of my lowerback picking it up, else I am certain I would feel too much pain the lower back. Yet with this strategy I find it works well, somehow it still strengthens my lowerback, just not with the pain.

As far as I understand, it is an amino acid, and amino acids are building blocks towards protein, thus on its own, it isnt a protein. In my understanding at least.

That is probably true. Looking at the levels of that site, I am a novice, the level just after beginner, but my progress is more that of an intermediate instead of a novice :(

I started off between intermediate and advanced (the first time I checked the site) - now my squats are novice :p Doesn't really bother me though - its just a target to aim for.

You must have taken a massive calorie deficit to go down !

But you are right, as long as I better myself it should be seen as good. Although as of late, I am starting to think, DL is the foundation to improve my other lifts, because everything skyrocketed when I went up in DL, so I am pretty sure it will happen again once I get past this current sticking point.

That seems the correct way to do it, I tried keeping it as close as possible to my legs and also bending knees more on my routine yesterday and I can feel it on my legs more, might be healthier for lower back as well.
Drive up through the legs.

I often feel dizzy after Dead lifts these days now that I have increased reps, I try one rep max every second week, I'm after the burn these days as apposed to lifting really heavy.

Very informative magazine.

I have tried a few supplements over the months now, (the okes at the office talk and share it)
jack 3d, USN lava sticks and the latest SPS vitargo trigger

But they all make me feel funny, and my skin ichy.
So i prefer to tick to only USN Creatine Transport

Does any one else experience this?

I have always thought of gymming as a lifestyle, so stay away from all the "fixings", whenever I hear of body builders having heart attacks before 40, I always assume the guys are taking stuff that's not natural.
I just dont trust these products, last time I took USN something or other my heart felt like it wanted to jump out my chest, not good!

Meh, looked at the weight lifting standards again.

Deadlift = exactly intermediate
Squat = Just just above novice
Press (OHP) = exactly novice
Bench Press = exactly intermediate

So that is interesting, but are these on 1RM or 5RM? (Edit: Nevermind, I see its for 1RM) Most of mine is based of what I do 3-5 reps in a set, but I am sure with 1RM I can put it up higher, then I should be able to get Squat into the intermediate zone too. I don't really know what my 1RM is on most lifts, except for the Bench, which I can then reach halfway between intermediate and advanced...

I had a hectic Chest workout yesterday, really pushed to breaking point, last night when I got to bed my heart felt uncomfortable.

Hoping it's not the heart itself but tendons in the chest?
Still uncomfortable today and a little worried, I'm not anything but protein and glut-amine.

I had similar before, hurt for about a week, I am sure mine was muscle related pain.

Do you guys prefer barbells or dumbbell?

For me I thin I will give DL a miss because I'm very tall (1.9) and skinny. I'm scared of snapping my back. Watch too much youtube videos. I'll concentrate on bench squats

I know exactly what you mean. It's not your heart, relax ;)

Why not just use lighter weight in rep range below 10?
Maybe add more sets?
Don't think I could ever drop DL, it just gives and gives :)

I'm 1.93, you won't snap your back. Just keep your form right. ;)

I'll try that. I couldn't DL 60kg on last Monday.

Woah. You are a giant. 1.93 and 125KG? Pierre Spies has nothing on you.
You know the rule, pics or it's bs.

Dying that young is most probably because they overdo the roids, doubt if any USN product will give you a heart attack IMO
