Good time for people who always wanted to buy Boeing Low.

With all of these issues surely pax going to start opting for non-787 flights now? I certainly would avoid flying on one.
Ockie will be most displeased...
Isn't Ockie's an Airbus fan? So perhaps not. Schadenfreude?
Uh, cabin crew please take your seats and prepare for final descent...
Nice report.Outsourcing has failed Boeing: http://seattletimes.com/html/businesstechnology/2021045270_boeingoutsourcingxml.html
I have always disliked Airbus, but that's because they feel wonky in the air compared to a Boeing.
Nice report.
.
Huh? I didn't even vaguely suggest that. Wherejagetthatfrom? So ... it is all Airbus's fault that the 787 is bursting into flames all over the place and making u turns back to the airports cause of funky sensors and other technical issues?
Ok ... I did not know that.
In my view, Airbus's ultimately state-funded growth put intolerable cost pressures on Boeing, forcing them to outsource essential subsystem engineering, which eventuated in the Dreamliner's electrical problems.
Huh? I didn't even vaguely suggest that. Wherejagetthatfrom?
Airbus is not responsible for their governments' funding decisions - the governments are. And they're bad decisions for Boeing and for the industry. But Airbus is not to blame, and neither should they be.
And I do think they do make nice aeroplanes. My point is a different one entirely.
I would still gladly fly the 787 any day of the week.
There was a period where I used to fly hideously frequently, at least once a week locally and once per month internationally.
I never really had the luxury of picking dates and flights, it was usually on very very short notice.
I seem to have found Airbus to be quieter. Has anyone else noticed this ?
.. I was sitting on the wing right by the engines
Ockie Ockie Ockie
ALWAYS sit in front of the wing.
The reason I may have noticed is the travel agent had my seat preference, so at least 80% of the time I was sitting in the same place on either boeing or airbus
But then I wont be able to see if a bird ever gets sucked
