The new Brexit Secretary, Raab has now said that the government will ensure there is sufficient food and clarifies that they are not stockpiling food.

The UK imports 30% of its food from the EU.

Absolute shambles that it has reached this level of chaos that they are concerned about food supply.

Raab should probably be called the deputy or assistant Brexit Secretary now.

Theresa May is taking personal control of Brexit talks with the EU, with Dominic Raab deputising for her.

Mr Raab was drafted in as Brexit Secretary to replace David Davis, who quit in protest at the prime minister's proposals for post-Brexit trade.

A special unit in Mrs May's office has played an increasing role in Brexit talks during recent months.

Tuesday's announcement, in a written statement by Mrs May, formalises that shift in responsibility.

Bahahaha!

Theresa May announces she will keep UK under EU laws for another 21 months, risking Brexiteer fury: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...n-conservative-mp-uk-talks-deal-a8461581.html (warning, autoplaying video)

Theresa May has risked the fury of Brexiteer MPs by announcing plans to keep the UK under EU laws for a further 21 months.

The 1972 European Communities Act will not be fully repealed until the end of the planned transition period, at the end of 2020 – rather than on exit day next year.

Dominic Raab, the Brexit secretary told MPs the move was necessary to “ensure the statute book functions properly....in accordance with the agreement we have made with the EU”.

But it is certain to enrage pro-Brexit MPs – who had been promised the 1972 Act, which took the UK into the then-common market, would be scrapped in March 2019.

It is certain to provoke protests that the UK has not really left the EU next year – and will require amending the EU Withdrawal Act, passed into law only last month.

Who trusts polls any more?

Pre Brexit polls said the UK would remain.
Pre election polls in the USA said Trump would loose.

Because these national decisions have become so ideologically charged and people fear being victimized for their personal beliefs, they resort to faking their poll answers to avoid further issues.

Evidence of poll faking?

Polls were wrong twice. I can show them you hundreds polls that were right since, statistically they are still more right than wrong.

The pre polls are controlled by the media trying to hype up a certain result example trump to loose election but the public has a different opinion. You can't controll peoples emotions and opinions by setting up polls to be broadcast in the media as a propaganda to get get people to change their view points.

Same like south Africa if we have to vote tomorrow democratically for taking back the land. The media might push their own narrative then the public will just vote for what they want majority wins. Democracy at play true democracy just like Europe , UK and USA .

Not the best choice of words, but undermining one's own country in favour of a foreign power actually fits the generic definition of treason for most countries:
https://hsf.org.za/publications/hsf-briefs/treason-in-southern-africa
any individual who conspires or incites others to attempt to overthrow the lawfully constituted government, alter the laws or policy of the country by force, usurps the power of the government or incites invasion will be guilty of treason

Brexit: Deutsche Bank moves half of euro clearing business from London to Frankfurt

Deutsche Bank has moved almost half of its euro clearing business from London to Frankfurt because of Brexit.

Euro clearing is the system through which euro-based financial transactions are settled, and London is known as a leader in the clearing business. Clearing house LCH, owned by the London Stock Exchange, previously dominated the market, processing almost £900bn in deals per day.

A majority of Leave voters now believe May's Brexit deal will be bad for Britain

A majority of voters who voted to leave the European Union now believe that the outcome of Brexit negotiations will be bad for Britain, according to a new poll.

The Sky poll found that 51% of Leave voters and 65% of all voters believe that Theresa May will secure a bad deal for the country when she returns from Brussels later this year – an increase 0f 15 percentage points since the same poll was run last year.

Just 14% believe the government will get a good deal, down 12 points.

The poll also found that just 10% of the public believe the government is doing a good job negotiating Brexit, while 78% believe it is doing a bad job. That figure has increased by 23% since last year.

The findings appear partly to reflect the unpopularity of the prime minister’s Chequers plan, a series of proposals she agreed upon with her Cabinet earlier this month which are deeply unpopular with Leave voters because they would see the UK remain closely aligned with EU rules.

Theresa May’s ratings have taken a similar hit. Just 24% of the public are satisfied with her performance, down 17 points, with 74% dissatisfied, up 14 points.
