Called it! Told Chris he was hypocritical on the matter and has nothing of substance to offer on the matter.

You still haven't dealt with my point. Did you even read his resignation letter on why he resigned? Maybe that will enlighten you...or perhaps it is easier for you and Dave to post in "glorious ignorance" and make lame cheap shots.
He is a hypocrite. What he wrote on his letter is a mere virtue signal to the Brexiteers.
His actions, speak far louder than some letter he wrote when he realised Brexit, the way he wants it, is impossible. So he prefers now to stand on the sidelines and offer platitudes to the Leaver's.
Look even the pro-EU BBC called him the "real" Brexit secretary...
No, they pose it as a question ‘the real Brexit secretary?’
How unlike you to twist something to your viewpoint...

They can't really state it outright
So is there a specific time frame in British Law regarding the length between referendums? Who has decided on this? How is that the same? Have a referendum 40 odd years later compared to 2/3 years later without even delivering the initial vote? You can't compare it, no matter how much you want to
By the way, I see Dave's hero, Chukka Umanna

"we only had a general election 4 years ago, let's postpone for another 36 as its unlikely the population has changed its mind in such a short space of time!"

the UK lives in a democracy while ignoring a referendum result? It would make many tin-pot dictatorships in Africa look more democratic.
My point is this decision should reflect the will of the majority, if it no longer does then it should be called off.You tried to link the two not me?
So I guess you will need to explain why these are the same. They are far from it![]()
