I would actually like for the Scots to stand up for their own sovereignty, but Braveheart give people a false idea about politics in Scotland as if they are brave people. When if you really look at their politics they are backstabbing cowards and even in the time of Bruce Willis, the Scottish kings/clan leaders already sold out.

The Scots are their own worst enemy and I don't have much hope for them.
before or after he banged Demi Moore?

The SNP are also the biggest hypocrites...claim they want independence but happy to sign away their sovereignty to the EU. Independence or the favourite Scottish past time of English bashing? You know I used to respect the Scots as they produced great thinkers like Adam Smith and David Hume but now look at the them. The most left wing region of the UK. Complete disaster.

Hell of a generalisation there. I'd love to see you go and voice it in Glasgow. Especially the bit about Bruce Willis. You might get a pasting after everyone has stopped laughing at you.

But seriously, people in Scotland voted no because Scotland the parliament in Edinburgh largely did away of the need for independence. It is a country of prosperity with little unemployment and good public services. The potential divorce bill and the high number of unknowns made it an easy sell to say no.

remove all Scottish votes from the brexit vote, does it change the outcome?
make every single Scottish vote on brexit a 'no', does it change the outcome?

LOL

Just because you mixed up Engalnd with the UK and try to wrangle it otherwise does not change your glaring error and misunderstanding you have.

And your attempted save is not related to your point.

You said England wanted a referendum, when it is the UK that initiated this. England could not do that. That is your fundamental misunderstanding of the matter.

Who the hell is Bruce Willis?

And of course you have no idea what you are talking about, again.

Socialism works in Scotland because people are employed and have spare income. They have free schooling, welfare if unemployed, free hospitals, free medicines on prescription and many other things such as cheap public transport and functioning municipalities. etc, etc, etc. Indeed, my daughter is on the third day of her first year of 4 at Glasgow University, funded by the state and a grant is given to feed and clothe her. Complete disaster, hey?

You see, people like you have have only other peoples opinions of most things have no idea of the actual realities. Socialism is a contract between a person paying taxes and the government that then supplies them with services for those taxes paid.

Maybe you need to stop taking other peoples opinions and try and form some of your own. Of course that means leaving your bedroom and your parents house, so perhaps not any time soon, hey? Maybe just shut up in the meantime.

All nice and well but surely we should remind passive readers of this thread about the Barnett formula? You know the highly inequitable formula where the English hating SNPers live off the English taxpayer?

So not a complete disaster then? I’m glad I changed your mind on that.

And answer me this. If you believe this formula, and there are many disputes around it, why did and do the English politicians fight tooth and nail to keep Scotland in the union?

Surely they should be campaigning to get them out rather than fighting to keep them in. As they ALL do without exception.

Added to that is the UK Supreme Court was set up by your hero, Tony "war criminal" Blair, who obviously stuffed the court with his lackeys and given Blair's ultra Remainer proclivities, it's not hard to see the judges probably shared them as well.

More cluelessness from the Australian living in South Africa who has no idea of how things work in the UK.

Unlike the US, the UK Supreme Court justices are not chosen by politicians.

Judges of the Supreme Court are appointed by The Queen by the issue of letters patent, on the advice of the Prime Minister, to whom a name is recommended by a special selection commission.

The Prime Minister is required by the Constitutional Reform Act to recommend this name to the Queen and not permitted to nominate anyone else.

Selection commission
The selection commission is made up of the President and Deputy President of the Court, and a member each from the Judicial Appointments Commission, the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland and the Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission.

Should either the President's or Deputy President's place on the commission be unfilled, that place is to be taken by the most senior ordinary judge of the court, and should both offices be vacant, by the most senior and second most senior ordinary judges of the court

The misunderstanding is all yours, enjoy wallowing in it.

The UK = England, given that England can unilaterally control literally everything the UK does by virtue of the fact they have an outright majority in the UK parliament, which in case it isn't sinking in quite yet, might as well be renamed the English parliament.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

At the moment it’s a handful of MP’s from Northern Ireland they have got Boris by the balls.

Funny how are these Remoaner MPs were so desperate to open up parliament and yet nothing of substance has happened just yet.

But great oratory from the AG Geoffrey Cox. He sums up what millions of Brits are feeling:

And once again the Australian shows his ignorance and cluelessness of the UK...

The opposition are aware the the government gets to choose Election day, so if they called a no confidence vote now and dissolve parliament Bojo could turn around and name November 1st as election day. They have all said that the election will follow no deal no longer being possible, not before.

I'm confused, can you explain the "follow no deal no longer being possible ,not before" part? I'm not sure what you mean
