There was a Brexiteer candidate but the Times, a known Remainer newspaper, got a journalist to ask the Brexiteer about motherhood and after the manufactured "outrage", May became the PM because there was no-one else left. If the Tory membership had a vote, she (May) would've lost .
So in ChrisWorld Farage will still be an MEP after Brexit? He intends to keep all EU income even after Brexit even though he hasn't earned a single cent/pence due to his almost criminal lack of attendance of the parliament and committees.

He hates the EU but just can't take his little piggy snout out of the trough he has made, can he?
I found it more hilarious that he thinks Farage does any "work". :crylaugh:
And with not a hint of irony he'll complain about "lazy people on welfare".
In the same way somebody refers to Nigel Farage as "a nasty piece of work".
EXCL Jacob Rees-Mogg also says the Republic of Ireland should leave the single market and customs union to ensure the NI border stays open after Brexit

Ireland ‘Can Count on Us’ in Brexit Border Fight, Merkel Says
Seems that Jacob's plan failed - again. Damn EU!

Jacob Rees-Mogg is a moron who thinks he's still living in the 19th century and a person would have to be a moron to think he offers anything but idiocy to any process...

Like our resident Brit-Australian-South African whatever he is and his signature?![]()
Neil Hamilton hits out at children's 'childish' Brexit views on BBC: Welsh Ukip leader complains of ‘biased’ radio piece and posts video criticising ‘leftie luvvies’
...
Hamilton’s complaint included the claim that Morgan “failed to question any of the patently childish answers given to him”.
Describing it as a “mawkish puff piece”, Hamilton said: “Every child who featured on the programme was anti-Brexit and the segment lacked any form of political balance.”

Neil Hamilton, the disgraced former minister, yesterday walked away in humiliation from a £10 million libel suit against the Guardian over the "cash for questions" scandal hours before the case was due to start today.
...
The Guardian stated on October 20, 1994, that Mr Hamilton had received thousands of pounds for asking parliamentary questions for Mohamed Al Fayed's Harrods group.
...
The Guardian also served on the men's lawyers three statements from employees of Mr Al Fayed. They said Mr Hamilton and Mr Greer regularly called for envelopes stuffed with £50 notes in return for parliamentary lobbying.

Ukip: truly the party for the greatest minds in the UK. Or, perhaps that should be the party of liars and thieves: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/1996/oct/01/conservatives.uk
Just like Trump, Ukip only hires the best people. The very best. Where "best" means "terrible human beings".
UK passports 'to be made in France after Brexit'
The new UK passport to be issued after Brexit will be made in France, according to the current British manufacturer.
The burgundy passport, in use since 1988, will revert to its original blue and gold colour from October 2019.
The boss of UK supplier De La Rue told the BBC that Franco-Dutch firm Gemalto had won the £490m contract.
The Home Office said a winning bid had been chosen but it was up to the supplier to announce the news.
It said the deal could save the taxpayer £100m-£120m and that 70 new jobs would be created in the UK, at sites in Fareham and Hayward.
Interesting thing (for everyone who clearly didn't bother to read any further into the new passport issue) is that under EU law the UK HAD to put it out to tender within the bloc.

I did read that.
I also read that having the passports manufactured overseas would save the UK in excess of 100 million pounds.
Is your head so far up your protectionist a**e that you'd rather have the passports made locally so that some Tory crony can pocket the difference?
