I've been through that wall a few times in the past and believe me, it was a few grades up in security from the Berlin Wall. It was lined with barracks and they had frequent and regular bombings and shootings at the soldiers on duty.

That's the issue that a propper deal should have addressed. Now they'll just have to work it out after Brexit.

It will be an open border for some time until they figure out the practicalities. Borris can say, no backstop. But he doesn't have the means to enforce that right away. We are still playing a game of chicken. This is just to see who blinks first.

The remoaners will probably freak out enough to get the other side(or just Ireland) back to the negotiation table.

Indeed. I just hope Boris doesn't try and snooker Brexiteers with merely changing one or two details of Theresa May's awful WA. Our backstop is the Brexit Party :)

But he probably needs to call a general election, or force the pro-EU fake Tories to vote against him in a vote of no confidence (which will result in them automatically being deselected i.e. lose their jobs).

It's amazing seeing all the Theresa May acolytes resigning, just proved to us Brexiteers which we could see way back in 2016 that she had ZERO intention of ever leaving the EU.

He absolutely must call an election with an election manifesto including no deal as official policy. Then he can get his mandate for it.

What colour jerseys are they wearing? That's really the only sound basis for deciding.

Springbok are fast, but I'd expect a pride of lions to be able to kill at least one, so I'd be more likely to back the lions. Obviously if the lions were up against elephants then I might back the elephants. Although I'd never discount the possibility of the crocodiles pulling off a kill.

The sample of people you see on twitter is not representative of the UK.

All of my labour are Welsh, all voted for Brexit and are mostly cautiously pessimistic over Boris. Because he is just another Elitist.

That is the key.

Brexit was a for these guys a big backlash against the Elites.


And yes this is also a small sample, I just feel this is more at the coal face of public opinion than twitter and a South African forum.

The referendum was all the mandate that is needed. May tried to get a deal. The British people can't vote to make the EU give them a better deal. All that's left is a no deal exit.

May was a weak leader. And hence a totally schit negotiator. Let's hope Boris is able to get a better deal for the UK.

A no deal brexit is just stupid and will be harmful to Britain

That's not what you said though. And no, the reason for Brexit is control of the borders on their terms. Nit picking a few articles to suit your narrative doesn't make it the reason /facepalm
