Indeed, but it's the will of the majority when the referendum was held. The government at the time promised to honour the referendum result as well. Back tracking then would be exactly the same to backtracking now, giving the finger to the majority who voted YES.
This is the thing though, having another referendum is not democracy either as then what was the point of the first one. The only reason for second referendum is to hopefully get a NO result this time around (NB: referendums are YES or NO, the nonsense mentioned the other day about have different options A to Z where people pick is not a referendum.)
Of course could go NO, and then what, best out of 3. It could also go YES, will the remainers honour the result this time? When will it end?
Still Brexit is way more interesting and exciting than our local politics where every second story is about a comrade getting fired and will now got to court go fight.
