Well then why did the government have a do-over of the general election in 2017 and now they want another do-over in 2019? The next general election was only supposed to happen in 2020, and then it should have moved to 2022. And why even have an election every 5 years? Shouldn't those elected rule indefinitely since the people have made their choice?

In the US the voters will get a do-over next year.

The mechanism to get a 2nd referendum exists. Bring down the government through a motion of no confidence and install Corbyn as PM to oversee the referendum.
I predict voters will severely punish those behind these machinations in that referendum and hand the hard Brexiteers a huge victory. The UK will be the loser.

I support constitutional democracy where no one is above the law.

There is no such thing as "housing subsidy" in the UK benefits system.

Under 18's can't claim Housing Benefit (aka Local Housing Allowance or UC Housing component), nor are they able to apply for council or social housing.
 
The latest gambit by the alliance of MPs around Sir Oliver Letwin looks like a real problem for the government whips, as they prepare for Saturday's critical vote on the new-look Brexit deal.

The amendment would withhold approval of the deal, until the legislation to enact it was safely passed - a move that would automatically trigger the "Benn Act" and force the prime minister to request a further postponement of Brexit until 31 January.

More nonsense from the losing side. They are really desperate to prevent a vote on an actual deal. And they will only win due to a minority faction within the Tory party who have effectively gone rogue along with the ones who switched over to the Lib Dems and yet didn't call a by election...

But you’d also vote to block the deal, right? Because it’s essentially the same as the May deal and you made your feelings very clear on that.

But, but, but....it’s essentially the same deal you shat all over previously while calling Mrs May a million insulting names. In fact, according to the Governor of the Bank of England, this new deal would not boost the economy to the extend of the previously agreed deal.

Can you explain your u turn?
