Interestingly I read an article in the Guardian in which someone from Labour basically said that Labour was changing its messaging, not because they wanted to win, but because they wanted an excuse for their failure.

When Labour loses, they want to avoid having to blame either the far-left policies or Corbyn. Corbyn was we know is too proud to fall on his sword and resign, and Labour, or at least the current Labour leadership, are also too proud to admit that nobody wants a far left government.

Which is not to say that I am excited about Boris Johnson getting his majority. As South Park says, you really have a choice between a turd sandwich and a douche.

I don't trust any of the Top 3 to become the next prime minister, quite honestly. Johnson lies about everything, Corbyn is honest but communist, Swinson is surprisingly dishonest and pretty aggressive.

I wasn't worried about him not being alive. He's deliberately been taken off the airwaves due to that LBC interview (which I don't agree with BTW). People with an ounce of common sense knew what he was saying but clearly Tory high command thought it was too much of a risk.

I think you'd be more concerned that your hero, Sir Keir, is not going to be the next Labour leader given he's too much of a Blairite for many on the Labour left. Enjoy Rebecca Wrong-Daily ( :p ) or Laura "I'm not friends with any Tories" Pidcock. Absolute shambles!

Corbyn isn't a communist. He's only called that by some people because communist is a useful term for scaring a certain contingent of voters.

Well he's a lot further left than most in the UK, and a lot further left than most in the Labour party. There is socialism and then there is socialism.

Seems my bet on Tories holding Cities of London and Westminster is secure. Not sure Grant should be talking about "decent" people given his rather interesting personal life. Just another millionaire socialist telling the proles how to vote because they are too thick.

that aside, the number of times they repeat the word manifesto should have anyone's commie-detector at least beeping, then there is this, which is taken directly from Karl Marx himself, and paraphrased to sound enlightened and "modern":
