Hey everyone seems mental"s got this one in the bag. Tried to catch up but can only do 390 to 400 megs/h. Could have won but lost interest for a few nights. But none the less it was cool and IBurst should do this once a year, nice way to give back to the community.

I am actually very impressed with the 243GB that signates got, never in my wildest dreams imagined it would be possible, thought the winner would peg at about 180GB for 2 modems.

These numbers are insane but it also looks like some guys might have been stocking on bandwidth on the higher packages and nuked it all last month...

True but i think speed was a more decisive factor becasue of the time limit set - in my case i dont think i had 1 night where i didnt get great conectivity this month, the only reason I think i didnt break the 100GB barier is becasue i lost 3 nights due to no power

I think iBurst just got a lot of bad press especially with their billing issues. I have my share of those. Not as bad as being double debited but just to have my iCall removed was and still is an issue. They will remove it for 3 months and then suddenly its back on my statement.

Best thing to happen to iBurst was when Jannie left. Show me another ISP where you can download 240gigs for R594.00 pm. I don't think its possible on a 384kbps ADSL line. I was tempted to go the ADSL or the WISP route but then iBurst came in with the mid month topup, midnight uncapped and 128 VAS.

Can't wait to hear what the June announcement is.

Not even remotly possible on a 384kbps line, think the max you can get there is about 110GB running full speed every day, then you run the risk of the isp throttling you also.

Yup some good advertising material for iBurst thanks to the Bubbles Challenge. And May has been very stable for me, downloads, gaming and general connectivity. Lets hope they only move forward from here...

If I tried I'm sure I could have come close to or even passed the 150gb mark with one modem but during the second week of the month(think it was the second week) I hardly let my downloads run in comparison to the rest of the month.

Maybe Ronald can see how much I downloaded for each week of May a post the results here :)
