I think this is the definition of a new energy vehicle. Local and international reviews are very positive and the pricepoint and features are great. Atto 2 DM-i PHEV, BYD the vehicle has a mode where it takes the decision making of whether to use it in electric, petrol or hybrid mode away from the driver for optimum energy usage.

I think this is the definition of a new energy vehicle. Local and international reviews are very positive and the pricepoint and features are great. Take reviews with a pinch of salt. They have been known to sue reviewers who say negative things.

I know and the South African reviews are garbage. Looked at a couple of UK reviews. The point though was the energy system of the vehicle which removes decision fatigue, was what i was going on about. As is with all vehicles its a case of lets see how it fares after 4 years on the market. In this instance if you pull the trigger on purchasing one then you become the early adopter taking on the risk. On the whole in this segment and pricepoint i can see this being popular and a BYD best seller. Reputation wise BYD seems to stand head and shoulders above the rest of the Chinese vehicles.

What reputation? Anyway, don't all hybrids do that?
