The Cannabis Thread #2

ok, I am debating life at the moment and would like to share https://uberzol.com with you all. Someone told me this is actually owned by uber.com, anyone tried them?

So first time trying Mustafa's dank and for outdoor I'm impressed. It gets the job done..price/quality to me is fair
Only tried the critical haze so far and all i can say is if you have things to do....dont smoke :D even typing this now is a chore lol
Update: the Unknown strain sucks.does nothing

The Unknown strain I have kicks ass. Not sure if they're all the same though - maybe you got one of the CBD strains (Harlequin, ACDC, Charlottes web + Cannatonic), but I have them all from The Brother and they're great...
Can vouch - I have tried over 16 strains from Mustafa and they were all Golden.

Anyone have a tried & tested method for making "green"-tea?

What exactly must the d-carb process be for Temp & Duration.
Are they different for CBD & THC?
Is it best to mix the D-carb with butter first and then stir it in?

I just need something reliable to give to my elderly mom for pain relief.

Does anyone know where to get really good indoor? ****'s expensive. Don't want to get ripped off.

I'm a bit skeptical about 420m after learning about how they harvest the buds for trichomes before selling.

The green guys have some delicious looking options, but I don't know if anyone can vouch for them? Can't seem to find many positive reviews.

King kushie also seems to have mixed reviews.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

To decarb you can put it in an oven with accurate temperature @ 110 degrees Celsius for about 30-60 minutes (depending on how dry your flower is - really wet can take even longer).
If you are unsure about the oven's consistency, get a heat resistant temp gauge to monitor.
A bit of experimentation goes a long way too - place a single bud in the oven for 30 minutes, then eat it and wait - then try at 40 minutes and test again :)
To be safe, always start @ 30 minutes and you can get a feel for how well it went - the flower should turn brown, but not be overly brittle.

There are also some products you can buy that decarbs automatically - but they are pricey, and not all that easy to find locally.

Unfortunately I've never decarboxylated any CBD flower, but I'm sure a google search will fill in the blanks.

When my dad had some back problems I made him some green tea for the pain and it worked wonders for him, would hardly call it a good method but I first d-carbed in the oven for 30 minutes and then boiled in a pot on the stove three quarter full cream milk and quarter water until boiling then turn to low heat to keep it simmering add weed and let it simmer for 30-45 minutes stirring regularly as if the weed gets to hot all the THC burns away in the last 5 minutes add some normal tea bags for taste. Wouldn't bother using butter as milk has plenty of fat to absorb the THC.

Thanks for the detailed response.

I will look into the suggestions.

I think I spoiled my prior batches due to adding boiling water after the decarb.

I use olive oil, makes it much easier to manage the dose and store it. Just decant some into an eye dropper type bottle and good to go.

Googling "canna butter" gives tons of info on the various methods.

For solid quality medical cannabis oils, my first port of call is cannabisoilsouthafrica.co.za, the amount of people that cannabis RSO has helped with serious medical conditions is huge. Although I make cannabis coconut oil at home, RSO oil is a little more difficult to make and I find its worth paying for it.

If you keen for a straightfoward coconut cannabis recipe, here is the one we use below:

Ingredients
500ml Coconut oil
80 grams of cannabis flower

Cooking Instructions
I am using an electric frying pan and keeping it on the lowest setting. I have not decarboxylated the flower, but you are welcome to decarb the flower if you like. I cut up the flower very roughly using scissors ( increase the surface area for cannabinoid extraction ) and mixed it in with the warmed coconut oil. I will leave it on the pan for about 3 hours. Dont let it boil and stir it every 30 minutes.

After 3 hours the coconut oil and cannabis will still be hot, so let it cool for 30 minutes. You can use a Colander strainer initially and remove most of the plant matter I use a pair of old stockings to strain most of the veg matter out. Stockings you say, yes always used them and it works.

Strain it into a tub and keep in the fridge for use. Source
