Does anyone know the ruling around smoking marijuana in a complex/apartment block?

As far as I can tell, it is legal to smoke on/within your own private property. Which is cool if you own the apartment. Also, you can even stand on your porch/stoep and smoke weed freely. Good and well.

What is the ruling where you don't own the apartment? Does it still count as your private property if you're the renter?

Just wanted a chance to introduce myself in this thread, I've followed it for a while as a lurker on my work profile. I co-own the premium smoke shop LOUDcpt. I've also assisted the local seed bank Biltongandbudz in sourcing a lot of their international genetics.

This industry is often a lot of smoke and mirrors, and it sucks to see how often people are taken advantage of in the industry, whether that's with flower quality and pricing, the genetics they're selling (don't even get me started on the shady white label) or the misinformation around breeding (something I'm quite passionate about).

If anyone is ever looking for any 'inside information' or have any questions about the local genetics or glass markets don't hesitate to ping me.

I've just planted two seeds in a pot and I was wondering if it should get direct sunlight or not?

Yes. Casual outdoor grower. A spot for good light in the day and at night hopefully not alot of outside lights affecting them directly.
