I got 2 of them from Ebay a while back. I know you can get them from China mall in Dbn. I would give one to you but the thing is how to get it to you. My husband is using our bakkie as our other car decided to die. I'm also very house bound and dont go out much at all :ROFL: I find solice in being a hermit

I would say about 2 weeks and then check the trich's with a loop as mentioned. Most grow shops sell them nowadays. . .

Always go on the trich's. I cut many plants too early just because they looked ready to me, but when you take a look at the trich's they mostly clear some milky. You want about 50% amber, at least that's how I judge. More amber the more heavy the high. You don't want ALL amber though otherwise you end up with a batch of sleeping pills. :D

You will also notice with a ready plant that it loses that sheen to it, it starts to look more of a matte finish than sparkly. That's the trichs going from sparkly to cloudy / amber. Also take note of the leaves, they will start to change color, normally like a purplish color. Although not all strains will do this.

The way I can see immediately that yours aren't ready is the long white pistils. At least 70% should turn brown and shrink into the bud. White standing up like that is definite sign that she is not ready.

Thanks for the offer. The one Nibiru linked to is R200 and delivery is only R45 it seems. So not much.

This is tempting, apparently will work with my Android phone too.

Thanks. I used to harvest when 50% pistils turned brown, but will use the magnifying technique this year.
 
Takealot also sells the USB microscopes. Nice for taking pics, although I have taken some cool pics of my Humboldt Blue Dream through the loupe. What an amazing strain.

Throw in a pack of powder free gloves when you purchase. harvesting is super sticky. The gloves are nice for house chores and handling meat etc as well.

Do not look at the pistils when checking as genetics differ. The branches will start bending down, leaves turn color and check the trichomes. The matte vs shine analogy is also very accurate.

No not mad, just wondering why they always make excuses and lie about the deliveries. I don't mind if things take longer, but be honest about it. Don't say 2 days then it's more like 2 weeks.

Hv has a delta8 special. Is the d8 any better than the normal alien blue?
 
They are both delta. Delta 9 and Delta 8.

As she explained to me:

D9 is the normal extraction process, high, facemelting THC - more stoned
D8 is the new one, more for social, work, day time. Not as mind numbing as the original. - more focused

I was actually going to write a full review of Delta 8 vs 9, but don't have the time now. I would stick to the 9 if it's for recreational purposes. If you are medicating for health issues go for the 8.
 
question, does HV only do cartridges ? or juice for pod vape pens also ?

R1000 for Full spectrum
R500 for concentrate

and it works in Pod vape units

Ended up ordering this and while I was at it I got 20 x 8g 62% Boveda packs. Have decided against freezing, will rather use these humidity control packs to keep it fresh (in glass jars of course).
