I've been smoking for going on a year now, daily for maybe 9 months. I know for a fact I'm not addicted, I just enjoy. If I don't smoke, I'll go back to pre-weed me. The problem is, pre-weed me was a mess - despite being on meds. Constant mid-range anxiety, always on the verge of panic.
Do they (politicians/lawmakers/etc - the cops duty is to enforce the law not make it) want me to go back to that. Where just making it through the day was an achievement? Just about every day now I have a sense of achievement when I leave the office, I've actually finished stuff. Before, despite being on meds, I was a walking pile of feelings of inadequacy (just have to point out that I managed to spell that right first time).
I cannot speak to anyone else's story, but weed has made _me_ a better member of society and helps me contribute more at work and therefore to taxes (VAT and Income)
I'm going to keep buying, I'm going to grow one day when I have the space and I am going to keep using it to become a better person.
