the cherry QQ

I have to disagree about the Atos comments - my wife drove one for a couple of years and we sold it a year or so ago, just because we didn't have use for a second car anymore (we drive it a total of 50kms during a 11 month period). It never gave a single problem, kept its value fairly well and didn't have even the slightest rattle or squeak after doing 45,000km. Except for a few scuff-marks on the inside door panels, the car didn't have a mark or scratch on it - outside it was spotless.

I think this is a testament to the car's quality and reliability, never mind the fact that it is STILL being sold after the launch of the i10.

In terms of quality the little Atos is more than acceptable. However, during my brief foray as Hyundai peddler, I managed to get one onto 2 wheels 'round a corner at what felt like barely faster than walking pace. That experience cured me from any and all future aspirations of owning any of these oversized roller skates. I have a minimum size requirement for cars now.

Sorry, but I can't resist anymore. The grammarnazi in me is winning.

It's a "Chery" not a "cherry".

And if you want something with oomph for sub-50k that gets 25km/L fuel consumption... get a motorbike.
You'd be safer on the bike than in a Chery. Or an Atos.

Sadly anyone who can buy a car because the interior looks sexy, shouldn't be buying a car at all.

+1

Don't judge a car by its interior : a Subaru has a pretty ugly interior and yet people swear by the cars ;)
