Yep...kak beer that.
I disliked most of the beers in that six pack. But since they are all experimental, it is easily forgiven and at least I tried them.
I definitely also like their normal beers, will still buy those.
Nice will give one a try, like I do with all craft beers.
Sorghum has a very unique taste - but if you dont like weisse you wont like this either.

Must admit Weiss is my least favourite beerSorghum has a very unique taste - but if you dont like weisse you wont like this either.
I quite enjoyed it but I do love my weisse one of my favorite styles. This is why I love trying as much craft beer as possible - finding what you love, cause we all do have different tastes.
I am busy drinking this as I am typing now.
Apiwe actually sparked one of my beer making projects this year where I tried to make a proudly South Africa new style sorghum beer (+-40% mash bill) not umqombothi. I took a 30L batch split it 6 ways, made two different yeast strain wit beers, weiss beer, saison, ale, Neipa and IPA. The local craft brewers chapter held their last event for the year where I decided to join and bring some of these for people to try. To my surprise Apiwe was there too and I was able to share this with her. Was quite a special interaction a truly wonderful "brewster" and she quite liked my brew which was essentially a homage to her brews.

Seriously difficult grain to brew with and very limited information was available on it, ended up reading 3-4 scientific journal articles on how to incorporate it - was a very fun project though!
I am super glad that I was able to go to Soul Barrel earlier this year have a few of their brews in my beer fridge that I am very keen to try.
Then it makes sense that you wouldnt enjoy it.Must admit Weiss is my least favourite beer![]()
They have a bunch of fruity beers I really enjoyedI am super glad that I was able to go to Soul Barrel earlier this year have a few of their brews in my beer fridge that I am very keen to try.
What I find with their entire range is they are likely one of the most "experimental" breweries that I have been to and this is likely driven by most of their beers being barrel aged or open fermented. They definitely don't play it safe at all.
Also tried this one today - another good one. A rare style in SA
Hahaha, you feel it in the back of your mouth hey... I can still taste it 3 days later. Really struggled to finish itThey not joking about the Sour part. Might never pull my face straight again.
