The Craft Beer Thread

If you like the skeleton coast then you'll probably enjoy the Devils peak kings blockhouse as well. Recently also discovered gallows hill, who make some great IPAs.

We be goin' to the Republic of Cullinan... Rumour has it that a fine brew house be in existence there for quite a while.
Ya: http://www.thecockpitbrewhouse.co.za/
They make Spitfire English Pale Ale, Mustang American Pale Ale and Fokker Weiss, among others.

They collaborated with Triggerfish to make the Crazy Diamond that morkhans posted about recently.
Apparently it is worth trying both the Cullinan and Somerset West versions.

Today's beer, I was a bit enthusiastic in the pouring

Full bodied, with a nice hoppiness, fruitiness pulls through after a few sips

^Haven't seen that cbc yet...Will check it out. Tonight, currently in the freezer:

Oh wow - I really like this.
The B&U are by far my favorite. be sure to hold upsidedown and give a little swirl to mix the sediment into the beer. That one you're drinking and the dark lager are so damn good. Cheers...Enjoy the drinks .

today's beer, they aren't kidding with the name Hardcore, 9.2% alcohol, intense bitterness

Not exactly craft, but not quite mass produced either. Pretty good actually.

Being honey infused it was pretty sweet, reminded me of some of the Belgian beers very similar to a dubbel, would probably prefer it in winter.

My favourites would probably be the Hoppy Christmas, and the Dogma, I've never been one for the seriously bitter beers

I've always enjoyed CMS, nice winter beer, had a couple of the chocolates but not sure it would become a regular beer

It's a one off for me as well. I'll drink one in an evening and then move on to something else. The new ultra smooth castle milk stout is way better that the normal one IMO.
