Today's beer, I was a bit enthusiastic in the pouring
fruitiness pulls through after a few sips
I was never a fan of theirs, but if these IPA's are good...
I don't think it is your fault... Too much gas.
I don't get that.
Nah, I'd already done a first pour which was fine, just rushed pouring the rest of the bottle.
A couple of degrees change in temperature (warmer) and more flavanoids start coming out, hence picking up a fruitiness after a few sips

This cider is what happens when you challenge yourself. As a cider drinker. And as a cider maker.
This is what happens when you take chances.
This is what happens when you mix a deep, base apple cider with a fresher pear cider.
This is what happens when you take that juice and age it for 12 months in brandy and whiskey casks that you've painstakingly sourced from the surrounding farms.
This is what happens when you introduce fynbos honey from the mountains.
This is what happens when you don't follow the rules.
Do you normally like IPA's, or was this one of your first experiences?
Unopened so no idea what it tastes like.
I had the frasers stout a while ago. Was horrendously over carbonated and not good at all.
Gallows Hill IPA was good, as expected... Now I'm out of craft, but the fire is still burning... I believe there is only Amstel Lite in the fridge.
one Skeleton Coast IPA and one CBC Amber Weiss left
Black Label is the inbetweener![]()
Discovered this when I was in Germany a while back. I've only seen it once in SA at Makro a couple of years back - where did you find it?

(ps: on tap is even better!)
We be goin' to the Republic of Cullinan... Rumour has it that a fine brew house be in existence there for quite a while.
Got stuck here... We be going home today...Ya: http://www.thecockpitbrewhouse.co.za/
They make Spitfire English Pale Ale, Mustang American Pale Ale and Fokker Weiss, among others.
They collaborated with Triggerfish to make the Crazy Diamond that morkhans posted about recently.
Apparently it is worth trying both the Cullinan and Somerset West versions.
