Wasn't always like that. I loved the bone crusher but I think the brewery, i.e the contract brewer, changed the recipe and now it's less enjoyable.
There's not a lot of local brewers that do "pure" and "traditional" Witbier and finding good German brews is also quite a mission.

On the way home I thought nah don't bother going to get more beer there's some wine and a Birkenhead Lager in the fridge. Get home, pop the beer in the freezer...open it and there's no carbonation at all. Ugh...cold flat beer. Tastes fine, but my tongue needs fizzy tickles. Damn you!
