Ooooh had some good beers today. Savage brew side project fish bone had some really great stuff. Masters imperial Russian stout was amazing. And now things are rapidly declining....

What's declining, the quality of the beers or your ability to drink them?

My turn. Agree about the bottle. Feels manly :D

Summerfest was great! Three anchors was my personal favourite. Their offerings were delicious

Any breweries / restaurants near Grabouw? Not a big cider fan, would prefer beer. Only thing remotely close I'm aware of is Honingklip?

I spent a lot of time there last year. No breweries. Honingklip is a 20 min drive away and worth it. Restaurant at Old Mac Daddy has a fairly good selection, as do Peregrine and there is a cool spot called Fred & Max Eatery. The Elgin wines are excellent though :)

There is now somewhat less horaay at liquor city. I'm stocked for the long weekend.

CBC in a can. Oh no they have gone all commercial / mass market.

Buy a Bone Crusher to get a free glass .... err ... they can keep the glass :D

PS, they have a terrible logo :erm:

Techincally speaking beer will survive longer in a can than in a bottle.

As long as they canning process doesn't introduce too much oxygen into the beer - which severely reduces the shelf-life of the beer.

But it doesn't taste the same.

All all the way :p
