Ooooh had some good beers today. Savage brew side project fish bone had some really great stuff. Masters imperial Russian stout was amazing. And now things are rapidly declining....

I spent a lot of time there last year. No breweries. Honingklip is a 20 min drive away and worth it. Restaurant at Old Mac Daddy has a fairly good selection, as do Peregrine and there is a cool spot called Fred & Max Eatery. The Elgin wines are excellent though

Techincally speaking beer will survive longer in a can than in a bottle.

As long as they canning process doesn't introduce too much oxygen into the beer - which severely reduces the shelf-life of the beer.
