Ja, it's not that we didn't get the point. It was just too long, way too convoluted, and at the end of the day... just not that funny. His editor should have cut it down to two paragraphs, then it might have deserved a chuckle.

Those forumites who did not 'get it', really should brush up on their local ICT knowledge - specifically recent widely reported events involving COSATU and !CASA, as well as utterances from the Paris Mashile peanut gallery.

Interesting that forumites are split into 'brilliant' and 'I did not bother to read more than a few sentences' camps. Ties in nicely wit my previous post on people who don't bother to read the news articles but then have no hesitation to comment on them.

True, but I will admit that I did find some parts to be mildly annoying|tedious - even though I 'got it' from start to finish - I guess I would not have bestowed the title of "king" on Paris Mashile - more like the village idiot IMO.
