BTW in Israel a month or so ago, and the most Zionist Israeli I have met was an Arab Muslim from a village in the Galilee. He changed some misconceptions I had.

The people in places like Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain and Yemen are revolting against brutal and authoritarian client regimes supported by, and sometimes imposed by, Western governments.

This is what happened in Iran in 1979- the people revolted against the Shah who was only returned to power in place of their democratic government with the aid and blessing of the West.
