The area of the West Bank is park of the original British Mandate of Palestine that was promised to the Jewish people in 1922.

Now lets look at recent history, the West Bank that you claim is occupied Palestine, was in Jordanian hands between 1948 - 1967, it wasn't called palestine, it was called erm, um.....Jordan, and the arab inhabitants weren’t called erm......palestinians, they were Jordanians.
In 1967 the area wasn’t captured from a mythical palestine, it was captured from Jordan, and guess what, the Jordanians don't want it back.
In reality we have an assortment of migrant Arab workers that are occupying land that was promised by the league of nations to the Jewish people, and have decided to adopt the Roman name of Palestine, quite funny actually, because there is no "P" in Arabic.

But, they are there, so can’t ignore that fact, so if a compromise for peace is that Israel give up even more land, so be it, though I doubt the palestinians want peace with Israel, they have had plenty of opportunity to end the conflict.
