Hmmm ... I'll check on the weekend, don't have premium account but I have a an idea what could be causing this. I'm on the second lowest package as DSTV is just plain silly to pay that much for and its really expensive background music in my house

Edit: Is this app working on other Android devices? Also do you know which ones and have you tried spoofing a "compatible" device?

Apparently the problem is it must be unrooted - shouldn't be too hard.
 
Hi guys,

Has anobody tried out VLC for Android? Worthwhile to investigate for 10-bit 1080p playback? Struggling with lagging in Mxplayer.

It looks like all the boxes have the same DeviceID

I've emailed the engineer to ask if we can change it somewhere
 
Hi Guys,
Is anyone else having issues playing live stream on KODI?

The issue i am having is that it seems to start playing and than just dies down. Nothing happens after that.

Any ideas?

I can't get my live TV to work. All the settings are correct. It's never worked from the time I got the MXIII. It's doesn't even scan when I start Kodi.

Anyone know what happened to Yotch? He was a huge help in this thread.

Why not use the vdubt25/world tv XBMC plugin?
or the Phoenix plugin with 'Woody' live tv streams.
works great.

For HD channels you can try ntv.mx
Channels are much more stable and fixed very quickly, since it's a paid addon.
With the weakening Euro, it costs about R185/month instead of R220 a couple of weeks ago.

For PVR interface with EPG Guide, you can try infusum.tv paid addon for about R260/month

Can also try FTV, Filmon TV addon and FTV Guide, for an EPG Guide.
