The Droid TV thread

Hi all. I have this issue with codi where once you try fast forward /rewind it just freezes the picture. Sound still plays though.

Even when you stop the movie and select resume only sound plays.

Using the nagrace hph nt-v6. Codi 16.1. Ntmc.

Please can anyone suggest a solution. Running a pulse ares build. Did this even with no build added. I use exodus most of the time.

Hi
You can go to System - Video - NTMC - Disable Accelerate RKCodec then it should be fine :)
Since the RK3288 doesn't support VP9 and you don't play 4K videos the setting is not needed.

So I took the plunge and ordered a Xiaomi Mi tv. I basically wanted something that could do HD Netflix, and then had the other Android apps I like to use. Upgrading from a WDTV HD Live - which has been decent but a bit laggy!

Shipping is scheduled for tomorrow, lets hope it's not held up too much at the boarder!

So with the move to the Droid side - anything I need to know to maximise my fun?

Get a decent remote my money is on the minix a2 lite
 
Second the remote tip, but I'd go for Mele F10 pro, it's replaced my TV, receiver and android box remote for all basic functions as it's programmable.

Sounds like free shipping. Will still take longer through local system. People need to pony up for the courier as free shipping can take 1 to 3 months...
 
I seem to have lost my Google Play Store app on my OTT MXQPro 4K box. It has been working fine for almost a year. Last night I noticed that the icon was missing from the desktop and after I placed it back and selected it, I received a message along the lines of "this version of the software is not compatible with your device".
It mentions that you can uninstall the last update in order to fix it, but I can't find the place where I can do this.
Anyone else with the same issue?
 
thinking of buying the mibox... could anyone confirm if the DSTV Now and Supersport apps work correctly?
